Goldramon stared at Magnadramon for a moment, something was off about his fellow dragon. The more he stared at her the more he was certain that something was off about her. Finally he decided to push those feeling aside as for the moment there was no proof about this besides his feelings.
"Magnadramon friend, I've want to ask something, do you feel anything slightly odd about the Alliance's new allience with the digimon Hiandromon? The reason I ask is I am starting to have misgivings about it and I just wanted your opinion on the matter" -------------------- [TCZ]Female,23,United States,Content[/TCZ] |

Magnadramon was quite confused for a moment. How could anyone believe such things about their new benevolent ally?
"I am not certain I know what you are talking about. HiAndromon has proven himself a very valuable part of the Alliance. Why, I don't think I've ever seen anyone as upright and kind as HiAndromon. He may even be a suitable replacement for Azulongmon." she added. -------------------- |

Goldramon was taken aback by the statement, he floated back from Magnadramon shaking his head, he couldn't believe that his friend just said what she had just said especially about her closest friend.
"Suitable replacement? Magnadramon what is wrong with you how can you state that, especially about your closest friend. Why does Azulongmon need a replacement anyway, he is one stage off from assuming his true form again, not to mention even though he as not achieved his true form yet, he has his memories, once he finally achieves that final evolution he will be the old Azulongmon again." -------------------- [TCZ]Female,23,United States,Content[/TCZ] |

Magnadramon processed the statement for a moment. Closest friend? What did that mean? She knew that it used to have significance, but she didn't understand what it was.
"I'm sorry if I have offended you," she said with a smile that seemed eerily unfitting. It wasn't her usual pleasant demeanor. "If Wingdramon were able to evolve to Azulongmon, it would be a beneficial tactical advantage," she added, hoping she had satisfied Goldramon's definition of friend. "Will that be all, then? Kitty laid in her bed, remembering the past few months, familiarizing herself with what she had forgotten. Some things were painful to remember. All of the death, the hatred, the fighting...the fear. She remembered her family. She remembered her parents, and her little brother on the way. She remembered wanting to go home before because she was so scared, but she didn't feel that way now. This was home. She was surrounded by friends. She realized for the first time that she was truly happy here, despite the fear. The Alliance was always there for her, and she was there for them; a kind of relationship that she never could have experienced on Earth. She missed her parents, but they had done their part by raising her. Now it was her turn to make a life for herself. Magnamon laid atop the central tower like he so often used to while staring into the bright sky. Only now, the sky was pitch black, like a blanket of charcoal highlighted with blood-red streaks. He swore he could hear echoes of screams in the distance. The Alliance needed to make a move very soon. But how could they? Everyone seemed so fascinated with this new member of the Alliance that they were blinded from the war. Perhaps he was too judgmental; they did need allies after all. But there was something about Magnadramon, and the twins. Magnadramon just seemed to have lost her mind altogether. He would never say it, but she seemed ignorant. The twins acted like they had never seen each other in their life, but how could he understand what they went through? despite these things, he knew Grandracmon could not be ignored. The Alliance was losing focus. He needed to take action. -------------------- |

Goldramon was completely repulsed by what Magandramon had stated to him. He backed way a bit and stared at his friend for a moment truly unable to believe what he was seeing and hearing. When he finally regained his composure, he replied:
"Yes that will be all" Then he flew off heading back to the Dragon's chambers. * * * Meanwhile back at the Angel's Tower, Ophanimon and Cherubimon sat in silence. Both of them were trying to figure out how the Alliance had gotten so out of touch with their true purpose, they were also trying to figure out how to get the Alliance back in touch with their true goals. So far both of them had came up with nothing, the more they though on it, the more they believed that there was nothing that they could do to help the Alliance. This though brought on a wave of dispair in the two. * * * In her dorm room Retrace continued to rest, all the while Lucemon continued to watch on. While she was resting he wondered who exactly was Chronomon and why out of all the possible Tamers there were in the Digital world was his partner chosen. At this point Lucemon intended to ask Chronomon these questions that more that weight on his mind when Chronomon showed himself again. * * * For the remaining Royal Knights the twists within the Alliance brought on much confusion. From their prospective so many things had happened to them that it was hard to adjust. They went from being the enemy to being the allies, along the way they had lost two leaders as well as many of their members. Then they became the four member of the Alliance and now they had place with the Central tower. From there now they had a new member of the Alliance whom had just came the fifth member. At this point Slepimon left the ground and sought out his new leader Mangamon. He found him sitting at the Central tower, based on the expression of his eyes, he could tell that his leader was deep in thought. "What are you thinking about sire?" asked Slepimon. * * * Within the Central tower, where the young digimon resided, they were having a hard time restraining the two Jyarimon that had started fighting among each other. After five mintues of the fighting the young digimon had finally retstrained the two from fighting, though they were still struggling among the grips of the young digimon. "Now what do we do?" asked Lopmon. "We must find a way to keep them seperated" replied Bearmon. "How do you intend to do that?" asked Kotemon. "Um...I don't know" replied Bearmon. * * * Deep within the Dark Area, in GranDracmon's castle, GranDracmon stood with two of the former Demon Lords LadyDevimon and SkullSatamon. They were standing in the Prisoner's Chamber. GranDracmon was looking for the perfect prisoners to feed to the two former Demon Lords so he could full awaken their power. "Yes these ones would be perfect" said GranDracmon. He lightly tapped on two crystals, they lit up and shattered revealing within them two digimon: DinoTigemon and Spinomon. Before the two digimon could fully recover GranDracmon reared his front legs up and brought them down crushing their bodies. "Feast SkullSatamon" he cried out. SkullSatamon obeyed GranDracmon and absorbed the data. Though he didn't evolve a dark aura surrounded SkullSatamon. Soon he thought to himself. Soon. -------------------- [TCZ]Female,23,United States,Content[/TCZ] |

It took a moment for Magnamon to notice Sleipmon's presence, and another for his question to register.
"...the future," he finally answered, "And the present. the Royal Knights joined the Alliance in the hopes of saving lives and relieving tyranny, possibly preventing the destruction of the Digital World altogether...but what have we accomplished? A few minor skirmishes, with the cost of many friends. We haven't done anything. We've only put delay on GranDracmon's plans. I have no doubt he is building his power as we speak, and what are we doing? Making friends and waiting for miracles!?" he shouted. He opened his mouth again, but said nothing. He contained his fury and took a breath. "This air is putrid. It carries the stench of death. I will bear it no longer," he turned to Sleipmon, "As a member of this Alliance, we have the right to voice ourselves, and take action when we feel necessary. Tell the other Alliance leaders that if the Alliance does not make a move soon, the Royal Knights will." Gazimon was wandering the halls, headed for the Knights' tower, when he heard shouting. It was coming from the infants' room. He ran over and cracked the door open to see two Jyarimon at eachother's throats, constrained only by the other infants. He stepped in and grabbed the two by the ears and held them apart. "Ah, brotherly love," he said sarcastically, "Any of you have an idea of what to do with them? If not, we can always throw one out the window." he joked. The Jyarimon instantly stopped snapping at eachother and stared at him pleadingly. HiAndromon pulled out one of the tubes containing one of the thousands of fetal digital creatures, each one containing the essence of each of the Digimon from the Prophets' facility. His fellow "prophets" didn't know it, but the supposed "Great Awakening" attack on the alliance towers was just the easiest way to dispose of the empty shells of the Digimon. For days now, he had been infusing himself with the samples, becoming stronger all the time. The chip in Magnadramon's body was slowly draining away her essence as well. To have the power of a Mega level added to himself would indeed be glorious. Hopefully no one had noticed her recent dullness. As for the twins, it was interesting that Katherine had no memory of Alexis, but not necessarily a bad thing. She didn't seem to recognize him, either, which was perfect. Things were going as planned. -------------------- |

Slepimon looked up at his leader Magnamon, for a moment he remained silent and his face didn't show any expresion whatsoever. He was thinking on what to say and how to say it so he didn't speak ill of the new leader of the Royal Knights. Finally after he organized his thoughts Slepimon spoke:
"Don't let your anger guide you sire, remember it was the anger of Omegamon that caused the first war, do you really want that same outcome again? Rather use your anger as a channel in order to inspire the same sort of ambition that you have. I doubt that all the Alliance members are suffering from self doubt, I know there are some that have the same zeal that you have, it just needs to be brought out. Perhaps you can use your "voice" as a means of being out these ambitions, however when you do please be careful I don't wish to see the Royal Knights make the same mistake..." On that Slephimon trailed off and lowered his head, then he walked off to join the remaining Royal Knights and to leave Magnamon to ponder his advice that he had just given. * * * Relief surged through the young Digimon when the two Jyarimon finally stopped fighting. "Thank you Duftmon...I mean Gazimon" said Dracomon. Kotemon thought on Gazimon's words, he knew it was a joke but he decided to play on it further in hopes that the Jyarimon wouldn't fight anymore. "Thats right, and if you even look at each other threateningly you will be thrown out the window we don't care whom you are Gallantmon and Megidramon. We will take the punishment from the others right guys?" The other young digimon nodded their heads in agreement. "You remember that" finished Kotemon. * * * Within the Angel's tower, within her own dorm room Retrace opened her eyes and sat up. "Chronomon?" asked a voice. Retrace turned her head and saw it was her partner Lucemon, she shook her head and said: "No buddy it is me" "Retrace, it is good to see you again, how are you?" "Umm...alright I guess, a little fuzzy" "No doubt Chronomon took over your mind and your body, good news is that Dragon's Tamer is back, Chronomon brought her back" Retrace look at Lucemon with a blank face for a moment because she didn't know whom he was talking about, then it dawned on her whom he was talking about. "Oh Kitty, she back?" "Yeah Chronomon brought her back" "That is great news" she said. "Indeed it is" said Lucemon. "Anything else?" asked Retrace "Oh yeah the Alliance as a new member, a digimon Hiandromon" Retrace's head went down as the name was mentioned. Something stirred in her mind but she couldn't remember what it was. "Retrace?" asked Lucemon concerned. "Hmm?" she looked back up. "Is something wrong?" "No" she replied but she continued to try to remember why that name seemed so familar. * * * GranDracmon watched as SkullSatamon absorbed the data of the last digimon he had brought out. Once the very last pieces of it had been absorbed a bright light filled the Crystal Prison. Once it faded SkullSatamon was no more, whom stood there now as the Demon Lord of Wraith... "Welcome back Daemon" said GranDracmon. -------------------- [TCZ]Female,23,United States,Content[/TCZ] |

Magnamon was taken aback. He knew that what his friend said was true. The idea that he was acting just as Omnimon had was disgusting and terrifying. At times, he knew he let his temper get the best of him, but to repeat the mistakes of someone as foolish as Omnimon? Never. He was happy to have Sleipmon, and all of his other allies. This is what the alliance was about; cooperation and trust, not blind rage and war. Perhaps their was a hint of reason in his thoughts, though. The Alliance did need to act soon, and perhaps his voice could prompt that. Who could he speak to? Magnadramon seemed to have lost it altogether ever since HiAndromon had arrived, but he couldn't tell anyone...not yet. Goldramon also seemed strange. His discoloration was starting to bother him. Perhaps one of the Olympians...

Goldramon returned to the Council Chamber of the Dragon's Tower, he stared out from the window and began thinking. Different topics ran through his mind but the main topic that he pondered was how did the alliance become so fractured. It was quite obvious now that the different members of the alliance no longer agreed on anything, even their main objective which was restore peace to the Digital World. He wonder if it was even possible to unite the members of the Alliance now that they had become so fractured. On that he stared at his hands and arms, his golden fur had changed to deep dark purple, the corruption had spread further, it wouldn't be long now before it finally took his heart.
Well I have to try, if we don't then everything we fought for will be lost. On that final thought Goldramon left the Council Chamber, he floated for a moment outside the door, he was wondering whom he was going to speak to on the matter. He knew that Magnadramon was out of the question, as of lately it was almost like her mind had finally snapped under the pressure. Wingdramon...perhaps I could talk to him, perhaps he would know what to do. Goldramon smiled on the thought, right her and now he felt like the original Goldramon. He floated down the hallway searching for his old friend Wingdramon...Azulongmon. * * * Within the Angel's Tower both Cherubimon and Ophanimon sat in silence, both of them had given up trying to figure out how to fix the mistakes that were made within the Alliance, in fact both of them had given up how to fix the Alliance all together. They thought it would be better for them to act as individuals rather than as a group. They came to this conclusion based on the fact that numerous members of the Alliance had been lost as well as corrupted. For them the Alliance was gone. * * * Within her own dorm room within the Angel's Tower, Retrace attempted to remember where she had heard the name Hiandromon before. She knew it couldn't have come from the meeting that established Hiandromon within the Alliance because that is where Chronomon had taken over. It wasn't from anytime before then as well, as the name wasn't even known. The more she thought on it the more distance it became, though she knew it was there, she could feel it. Gah! it is no use she thought to herself bitterly. She tilted her head back and it touched the wall, she was feeling quite bitter because she felt she had forgotten something very important. She closed her eyes, at that point she saw nothing but blackness. Slowly as if someone had busted down a wall she remember the dream she had where Chronomon had spoken to her about what had happened and how dangerous the new member of the Alliance was. At that point her eyes snapped open and she quickly stood up and dashed out the door, Lucemon her partner quickly following her, calling out to her and asking her what was wrong. If it wasn't very important she would had replied to him but since it was she needed to find a member of the Alliance to speak to about what she had been told by Chronomon. * * * Standing at the edge of the Alliance boarder Dianamon stood overlooking the destruction that both the Royal Knight War had caused as well as the current war against GranDracmon. While she had been looking at her, thoughts flew through her mind. She wondered if there wasn't more that couldn't had been done to prevent such destruction, she also wonder if more couldn't be done now, and if more could be done, just how could she go about trying to enact more action. Right now it seemed that the Alliance itself was more concerned about fighting with themselves rather than fighting the real enemy which was GranDracmon and the newly resurrected Demon Lords. She worried that the Alliance would continue along this path which would result in their destruction as well as the destruction of the Digital World. Right now they were all that stood between certain destruction, a destruction that would be caused by one of the most vile digimon within the Digital World. Dianamon lowered her head and thought to herself: How can we be brought back?. * * * GranDracmon returned to the enterence of his prison, where LadyDevimon awaited. Behind him was the newly resurrected Daemon, when LadyDevimon saw this her heart skipped it a beat. It was bad enough that GranDracmon had brought back Belphemon, but now he had brought back Daemon. Wrath... she thought to herself. Daemon's wrath knew no bounds, when he wasn't under control of GranDracmon, he had been unable to control his own wraith, which lead him to be one of the most fearsome digimon in the Digital World. Now that he was under the control of GranDracmon, who knew what Daemon's power's would be like. "Come LadyDevimon it is time" said GranDracmon. LadyDevimon began to follow GranDracmon has Daemon was left behind. She knew what was going to happen next. Lust... she thought to herself. Lillthmon was going to be awakened. -------------------- [TCZ]Female,23,United States,Content[/TCZ] |

Wingdramon was currently residing in his quarters, in deep thought. Soon, he would achieve Mega form, and h would be restored to full power. He would again become the Great dragon Azulongmon...but in another sense, he wouldn't. It was all so confusing. He had Azulongmon's memories, but was he truly the great dragon reborn? He certainly was formed from the very same data, but his essence, his being, was all too different. He revered and looked up to the Azulongmon persona, instead of existing as it. Azulongmon was a legend to him, not himself. He had never mentioned these things to the others because they expected so much of him. He was supposed to be their closest and oldest friend, not some fraudulent replacement...
Despite feeling so distant from the Azulongmon persona...Wingdramon felt close to him, like a father. As if they were blended into one being. Perhaps this is how digital rebirth was supposed to work...the wisdom and experience of the deceased was implanted into a fresh core, thus preserving their essence, and giving life to a new being. The process completely eliminated the need for parenting...all of the 'parent's' wisdom was already a part of the 'child' from birth. Wingdramon suddenly felt a complete sense of understanding...a peace with the digital world and himself. His mind aligned with Azulongmon's, and the digimon before him, and the one before him. They were all one...this is what it meant to achieve ultimate evolution. His destiny was not to replace Azulongmon, but to succeed him. A pure white light filled the room. There was only himself and several other Digimon there. Most prominent among them was Azulongmon. he smiled. "Well done, young one. You understand what it means to be a Great Dragon." he said. The others smiled as well. They were his previous forms, which were all a part of him. Then they faded away. Wingdramon felt a surge of energy inside of him. "Wingdramon digivolve to.....Slayerdramon!!!!" he cried. The Great Dragon had returned. With this, Slayerdramon seeked out Goldramon. He found him wandering the halls. "Greetings, friend." he said simply. -------------------- |

When Goldramon saw Slayerdramon, he wasn't surprised that Wingdramon had finally achieved the Mega level, though he was surprised it wasn't Azulongmon. However since they were at war with GranDracmon and the stage of the Digital World being the way it was, the concept of normal no longer applied.
"Greetings" said Goldramon returning the greeting. "Slayerdramon I was wondering if I could request your help on restoring the alliance. No doubt that you have witnessed this alliance slowly fracturing itself apart and slowly some of the members getting corrupted..." On that Goldramon trailed off staring at his own corruption spreading up his arms, while doing so he awaited Slayerdramon's response. * * * Back at the Angel's Tower, Retrace made her way up stairs to the main council chamber, with Lucemon following her. Once she arrived at the council chamber door, she didn't even bother to knock, she just busted in to the chamber much to the surprise of Cherubimon and Ophanimon. "Retrace" said Cherubimon. "What is the meaning of this?" asked Ophanimon. "I need to speak to you concerning the alliance that you have established with the Digimon known as Hiandromon" Both Cherubimon and Ophanimon looked at each other, under different cirucmstances the two wouldn't have even considered allowing Retrace to speak, however her connection with Chronomon made they seriously consider the matter. "Very well, speak" said Ophanimon as Lucemon entered in to the council chamber. * * * Unable to answer the personal question which she had asked of herself of how the alliance could be restored, Dianamon turned around and decided to head back to the Olympian Tower. Being unable to answer the question disturbed Dianamon a lot simply because so much hinged on answering, the fate of the alliance, the fate of the digital world and the fate of the human world. As she was heading back to the Olympian Tower, she passed the Central Tower, on top of it she saw Magnamon, whom appeared to be deep in thought. Normally she wouldn't bother to disturb him however today something compelled her to do otherwise. "Greeting Magnamon, friend" she said. * * * Deep within the Dark Area, GranDracmon was attempting to bring Lillithmon back, so far he had killed two of his prisoners and made LadyDevimon absorb the data of them. Now they walked among the crystal prisons, GranDracmon was looking for another strong prison for LadyDevimon to absorb. Finally he stopped at one and looked within it. Within the prison Murmuxmon, a digimon that once served him many years ago. However he had failed his master and as punishment GranDracmon sealed him within this crystal prison. How fitting... he thought to himself. A wicked smiled form acrossed GranDracmon's face, Murmuxmon would now serve a greater purpose. He tapped on the crystal, and it exploded open, and Murmuxmon collasped on the ground. He groaned and looked up. "My lord...GranDracmon" "Greeting Murmuxmon" "My lord please, let me make it up to you, I promise I will won't fail you again" "Your quite right Murmuxmon you won't fail me again, you know why?" "No my lord" "It is because you will serve a greater purpose" "What do you mean my lord?" asked Murmuxmon "Allow me to show you what I mean" said GranDracmon. GranDracmon brought his front legs up, at this point Murmuxmon understood what it was GranDracmon meant. "My lord no..." GranDracmon brought his front legs down and crushed Murmuxmon's skull, data surged upwards. "Absorb LadyDevimon" LadyDevimon did as she was told, though she was completely disgusted by the act, but she didn't want to give away that she had broken through GranDracmon's mind control. Once she had finished absorbing the data, a massive surge of energy, made it way through her and a bright light emerged from her body. Once it faded LadyDevimon was no more. "Welcome back Lillithmon" said GranDracmon. -------------------- [TCZ]Female,23,United States,Content[/TCZ] |
