Operation Sandbag (the founders, a few workers, and some friends' team all of eclipse) was sporting these at a recent scenario event in germany.

It is widely expected that Eclipse will unveil at World Cup, as rumored from many people, including the authors of a article on propaintball.com

As of now, there has been nothing else on the gun, other than what can be told from the picture of the gun, which is that:

-.68 cal.
-its a mid range spoolie from eclipse
-it has no screen
-it has one (maybe two) grip frame screws
-no screen

as of now these are the only pictures and specs out

An Etek to the Geo line perhaps?

That's basically what it is, but it is not ETek

And also, the patent describes, in very close detail, the way that a new eclipse pneumatic system operates, and from the looks of the way it operates, the new system should be a phenominal improvement:)

Ya know if you put that much effort into school, like you do for this you just may be able to work for a paintball company when your done with school.

I usually do all of my work in my software class real fast, because it teaches about Microsoft Office, but takes it as if everyone of us are complete CPU idiots lol, and its just simple stuff involving changing text font, font size, etc.

Then I have probably about 20 to 30 minutes of free time every day to mess around with PbN, MCB, YouTube, etc. :D

But I'm curious as to just how good it shoots, the modes and settings on it, the feel of it, etc.. Unfortunately its probably gonna be unveiled at world cup and then be put to stores later this year. I was kinda hoping it would be out sooner than that so I could have a chance to see it earlier in the year, but oh well <_<

I'm kind of interested in this. Not a big ego fan. I sold my 08 cause I was shooting my 07 minion (PM7) more than the ego. The one thing I will give the ego though is the triggers are butter. I've gotten used to shooting spoolies, I like the smoothness and the quietness of them. I don't need all the bells and whistles of a geo. The biggest thing that sets the etek and the ego apart anymore is just the board because the ego has a screen, and a few ounces with milling. If it's 500 to 600 bucks cheaper, I can deal without a screen. Spoolie with ego style trigger sounds like fun to me. Can't wait to see one.
