Hello!
What does everyone think of maybe having an artwork section where you could post non-decal artwork and sprites? You would also be allowed to post requests for artwork/sprites.

So, what do you guys think?

They would have to relate in some way to bricks/technic/bionicle stuff. This is a brick website/forum, so we need to stick to the theme.

Does anyone still think we should have the artwork forum, because so far no one has posted there. Do you guys still want to have it?

Crazy Boy has,
And just because not many have posted there doesn't mean future members won't want to post artwork,so of course it should stay.

Okay, stupid question for a change. What type of artwork is considered acceptable? Even when something is not LEGO-based, it can be turned into a decal or something LEGO-ish. An example for me would be when I was talking to a friend and sent a drawing to show why I was "qualified" to comment on this friend's work (and not just talking from ignorance or just to have my "voice" heard)- the person then turned around, offered to decal-ize the drawing, and when I agreed, sent me a decal of the character in the drawing. So other than drawing pics of Bionicle characters or comics with drawings of LEGO characters- what kind of drawings would be allowed then? Any drawing could be turned into a LEGO concept in one way or another.

Here is a list of thing that can be put in the Artwork Forum:
  • Bionicle related drawings
  • LEGO related drawings
  • Some concept designs for LEGO/Bionicle creations
  • LEGO/Bionicle related avatars, desktops, icons, edits, and CGed images
  • Custom Bionicle masks
  • Custom LEGO pieces
  • LEGO/Bionicle related costumes, masks, swords (life size)
  • LEGO/Bionicle related games
  • LEGO/Bionicle related sprites
  • LEGO/Bionicle related stories, epics, and comedies
Hope that answers your question Peter.
