In Yu-Gi-Oh, it is said that there are three cards so powerful that they are not allowed in the game. They all go by one name....

Little is knowen about these cards. Although there is a lot we don't know about where they came from. I tell you everythig their is to know about these mysterios cards..

The two things they all have in common -
Only 3 monsters need to be sacrificed to summon them. If a God card is special summon from the graveyard, they can only remain in play for one turn. After the turn is over the God card goes back into the grave.

Spell, trap, and monster effect cards do not affect the God cards. Not even Trap Hole or Raigeki will work.

Now on to the Gods themselfs...

Obelisk the Tormentor
Level 10 - ATK 4000 / DEF 4000

EFFECT: The player shall sacrifice two monsters to Obelisk the Tormentor. The opponent shall shall be damage, and the monster on the field shall be destroyed..

Lost yet....ok let me explain. Obelisk special effect, God Hand Crusher. After you sacrifice two monsters on your side, destroy all the monsters on your oppnent's side and deal 4000 points of damage direct to your oppnents life points. The two cards you sacrifice does not count to the three to summon this God. Five creature sacrifice is a small pice to pay to for wiping the field of your oppnent's monsters and hitting him with 4000 points of damage

The Winged Dragon of Ra
Level 10 - ATK ? / DEF ?

EFFECT: Speed charge, can attack the turn it is summon back into play by Monster Reborn.

The ATK / DEF of this God is determined by the total ATK / DEF of the three monsters used to sacrificed for summon. With this in mind, it is best to sacrifice your three strongest rather then some lower ones. If special summoned from graveyard. Ra has a ATK 0 / DEF 0. But still a card to be feared. You can offer 1000 of your own life points to the God and destroy one of your oppnents monsters. Even more, you can offer all of your life points except of 1 point to RA's ATK-DEF. If you had 4000 points. You can give Ra 3999 and that leaves you with one.

One of the most confusing points to Ra's effectscomes from being able to chant the Verse. This is printed at the bottom of the card. As it is said, who ever chants the verse, first takes control of the monster. The verse is in hieratic, an ancient language that is Egyptian. There is three parts to this verse. I will give you the first two...

First Verse - Whoever chants this verse, is the rightful controller of this monster. If this owner is unable to chant this verse, then this monster can not be controlled.

Second Verse - When summoning this monster, if the owner chants this verse, then the owner shall sacrifice all life points until only one remains. The sacriiced total shall be added onto Ra.

Third Verse - Yet to be revealed

Slifer the Sky Dragon
level 10 - ATK X000 / DEF X000

EFFECT: Whenever the opponent summons a monster into the field, it is dealt 2000 points damage. X equals to the number of cards in its controler's hands.

How many cards you have in your hand is what determans Slifer's ATK / DEF. For example if you had four cards in your hand Silfer has 4000 ATK/DEF. Ever card you add to your hand, means 1000 points to ATK/DEF. But when you use a card or remove it from your hand that is a -1000 points.

Silfer's second effect, the "Second Mouth", whenever your opponent summons a monster into play. SIlfer deals 2000 points of damge to the card automatically. If the monster has 2000 points or less, the monster is instantly destrroyed. There is no damage delt to the opponent when this happens.

Now before you take your new knowledge to your local tournament. You need to know this. You can not use them in tournament play. These cards are ment for fun only. The American god cards are also different then the reguloar cards. The backing of the cards are different in color. Don't be suprised to see the Yellow, red, and blue tinited backs when you look at them. And they do not have the effects listed on them. But lucky for you, you now know them.

cool.gif To correct Obelisk the Tormentor...

If there are five monsters under your control, tribute three of them to summon Obelisk, then Tribute the other two to deal damage of 4000 to all monsters on the field and to the Life Points...
