the rules.
if you wish to join this site, you first must read and understand the following rules. failure to stick to these rules and regulations will result in you pissing off the lovely admins and therefore you will be warned. three warnings and your banned from our board. intheBEGINNING
GENERAL RULES register with first, middle and last name.
okay, this is one of the rules that is broken the most and also one of the ones that annoys me the most. you must register your account with your characters first, middle and last name. i will not waste my time fixing your mistakes. if i see you have only registered with only two names then i will delete you without warning and you then can register again properly. be creative with this people. make up interesting names, use rare names. i don't want everyones last names to be jones or williams, you see those guys around everywhere. check to see that no-one else has the same last name as your character unless those two characters are somehow related. it is pretty obvious already, but no names like harrypotterluvr345, or i will again, delete you without warning.
no godmoding or power playing.
this means you cannot control another persons character, ever. i know it can be hard sometimes and as much as people like taking control, dont. so, it can be like; 'alice went to milk the cows and the cow said moo to her so she slapped it in the face and then john laughed' its just stupid. you keep to your own characters and rely on the person you are role playing with to do their part. if they by any chance want you to take control of their character, they would most likely ask you and the chances of that are slim, so no.
prejudice and discrimination.
alright. you better all know what this means and if you don't, read carefully. we wont tolerate any racial behaviour. none of the admins here think it is all right to make fun of peoples race, religion, sexuality or anything of that sort. if you have a problem with those things, then you can leave right now. no-one and i mean no-one should have to deal with people being mean to them because of who they are. if we see this happening at all, you are out. straight away, just like that. i don't think its very fair. think about how you would like it.keep it off our site or we will get angry! you have been warned.
cursing.
in other words; swearing. yes, your character can swear, but dont over do it. not everyone in real life goes around with a potty mouth so therefore it wont happen on an role playing board. you may use it in the ooc forums, but again, dont over do it. some people do get offended by cursing and we dont want anyone getting their feelings hurt. this is meant to be a game where people can come and have fun and relax after a hard day at work. cursing may also get this board deleted so please dont over use these cuss words as i have worked hard on this board and it doesnt deserve to be deleted because of someone elses mistakes. just dont over use it!
post length; seven - twelve sentences.
okay, this is a pretty easy rule to follow. please give at least one paragraph when you post. that is about seven to twelve sentences, not very hard. add detail. detail is always good. haha. if someone writes a nice long post of about four paragraphs, they have given you a lot to work with, so its not very fair to them that they spent their time on that when you give a lousy three lined post. please, people, put some backbone into it. give them something to compete with, something to work from. you will get a lot further in your plots if you give decent sized posts. i know we all get writers block, i do all the time, but put some music on that will get you going and go for it! also, you may post in either first or third person, whichever you prefer.

CHARACTER RULES applying for your character.
well, as you hopefully already know, you should register with your characters first, middle, and last name. before you register although, i expect you to read each and every one of the rules. after you have read them and registered your character, go to the character database and fill out the supplied form and then post it in a new topic. make sure you fill it out to a T and you have added a lot of detail and information about your character. an admin will give your application a quick scan and make the appropiate changes and move it to the file cabinet, therefore, you have been accepted. only when your application has been moved may you start role playing and posting on the other boards.
mary sues and gary stus.
mmkay. when you are creating your character dont make them perfect. because, news flash, no-one in this world is perfect, far from it. so, if you want to make a character that is a princess or prince with good looks and lots of cash, then go find some fantasy rpg. this is a real life rpg, and people who are perfect and have everything are fictional. so, please, make your characters beleivable. allow them to have flaws and fears. if i see anyone that makes a character that everyone likes and she is perfect, then, yes, i will warn you and ask you to change it, because then i know you havent read the rules.
pregnancy, death and over the top plots.
yes, your characters can get pregnant, they can die and awful things can happen to them. that's what makes an rpg. Drama. we like drama. we want lots and lots of drama. hehe. anyway. if you want your character to fall pregnant then please pm an admin and tell the your plot and they will give you permission for your character to be pregnant. we just do this because we don't want babies running around all over the place. it will get to unrealistic. you must also be able to show that you can be active, so you can play the baby as well. death; yes, although this is sad, it is allowed. again you must have good plot and you must pm an admin for you to be allowed to kill off your character. if you dont necessarily want to kill your character but you arnt going to be active anymore, put it up for adoption.
r is for rawr.
now, this is the topic we all get a bit iffy on. sex. yes, your characters can have sex, but please, dont go into to much detail. some people may not want to read it or they may find it offensive so please if the topic is going to involve sex of any kind, please put a note in the topic description so people know that that topic is rated R. remember to not post any offensive images of nude people or people involved in sexual acts. alcohol and drugs are allowed. it happens in real life, so it does on a real life based role playing game. just make sure you dont go to over the top. we dont want pot heads walking around everywhere. its a bad influence. so remember to put a warning in the title, or your topic will be deleted and you will be warned.

CHARACTER DETAILS signatures.
you must have a signature. whether it be a solid image or icons. signatures can range from 500x200 pixels and no bigger. we dont want any images stretching out the board, if your signatures does happen to do this then it will be removed and you will receive a warning. no ugly signatures, we want this site looking as clean and pretty as possible. you may use icons, but only six of them or less. and no more then two rows of them, other wise it just looks ugly. icons are to be no bigger than 100x100 pixels. they should be good icons. i am an icon whore and i only like good icons. hehe. you may not use anime or cartoon characters. thats just silly.
image posts and html tables.
yes, these are allowed, but only use them if you know how. the image posts may not stretch out the board and if i do, i will remove them. If they look tacky and unclean i will also remove them. make them pretty and original. dont steal images or html or you will be out. stealing is a big no no and if you do it, dani will hunt you down and make sure you arnt able to reproduce. be afraid. also, its just sense to not post any pornographic images. they will be deleted immediantly and you will be banned from the site. people may find it offensive and alot of us dont want to see it, if you have a liking for that sort of thing, then please find another site. thankyou =]
character limitations.
im going to be nice. you can have as many characters as you like. but only create them if you think you can keep them all active. if you dont have enough time to play two, then only create one. if you have three but you feel you cant keep up with them all, put one up for adoption. at least one of your characters must be a canon, and at least two have to be male. we need for males around rpgs these days.so, if you cant keep up with your characters, dont create them.
avatar claim.
no anime or cartoon characters. duh!you may use people from myspace, vampire freaks, model mayhem etc, but make sure you dont post them in the face claim. post that you have claimed them in the 'other' face claim, or, i will delete your post and your claim will be availiable for anyone else who wants to use them. make sure the person you want to claim isnt already claimed or you will have to choose another person to use. first come first serve.

mmkay, its simple, you advertise your site on here, you post out advertisement on your site. if you dont do so within twenty-four hours i will gladly remove your ad. only post your advertisement once, dont spam our boards. only post in the adverting forum, or your post will be deleted.

CONCLUSION activity.
this is pretty obvious, dont join unless you are going to be active. its simple. eventually i will hold an activity check, but i didnt create this game just so it could be abandoned in a few weeks. mmkay, so quick, short, simple rules. if you join, be active. simple. if you are going to be away, tell someone, like an admin or post in the away forum.
no arguing with the admin.
another simlple rule. dont argue with them. they made this place, its theirs, and its here for people to have fun. so respect the admins and the rest of the staff and everything will be okay. if you disrespect them, you will be banned and the game will possibly be closed down we are old enough to know now. if you are reading this put the words; 'just in case' in your application where it asks for the phrase. now, go and register and have fun!
