Hey does anyone know if there are any good Sponsors out there? If I can find someone to sponsor me at the tables online and offline, I think I can make it to the WSOP this year!

I havnt heard of anyone being sponsored by companies to play online, unless it is at their own poker room, but I guess the best way to try is to just send e-mails to all of the major companies,
personally I doubt you will get any sponsorship without some proof first that you are a winning player in major offline tourneys. keep us posted on how you do. |

Thanks for the help guys. I found www.PokerInside.com, that's helped me with like $200. Hopefully if I play well they will give me some more or I'll win some on their Leaderboards.
If you know any other Sponsors, please let me know too. |

You could also check out Wildstakes, a new site that seems to offer anyone backing if they play their way into a certain rank during tournaments. They have some big names signed up already... might be worth a try.

What kinds of things put you off about these sites? The one I mentioned seems to be trying, at least, to make the staking/sponsoring process transparent, stats-driven, and fairly impersonal, which I think would definitely be steps in the right direction. Can't say I've tried any sponsoring myself yet though, so I'd be interested in anyone's experiences as well...
