What times do you play most often and can you attend at least two of the three raids?:
i play after work most days ( usually starting around 8pm PST but some days earlier ). but honestly, i have not played in a while. i would like to attend at least two raids a week.... yes.

i know my gear sucks.... i've been playing solo ( i.e. no raiding and not too much instancing ) pretty much since BC...... and i can only handle so much of the pvp grind.

my very first character was a tauren hunter and i have always specc'd for marksmanship. i prefer theorycrafting my crit chance and AP to get the most damage i can out of my gear than relying on my pet. i'd much rather use my pet to off tank for me or to annoy casters.

Professions and any notable enchants, patterns, recipes, etc. your character can do?:

Justify and elaborate on your character's talent build, gear/gem/enchant choices, and your current PvE ability rotation:

i've never liked the idea of letting my pet do all the work. ever since my first toon, i've always been a marksmanship hunter. i always stack as much agi & ap as i can. since i have not done any raiding with this toon i can only tell you about my experience with my horde hunter as far as pve goes. she was the main puller in my guild and back then it was all about trying to do as much dmg as possible with out pulling aggro.in the olden days we did not have this wonderful little mod called a threat meter so for me it was all about FD. i even specc'd for improved FD back then ... it was actually very helpful for me as the main puller.

and yes... we all remember the good old days of kiting drakk .... i was always called upon for the kiting. i have also always specc'd for improved traps so i was usually responsible for handling a couple of adds... i.e trapping one and/or having my pet deal with one.

so basically, i like to do a lot of damage, but i am always aware that there are certain boss fights that require finesse, team work and strategy and because i don't have a penis and i never feel the need to prove it is bigger than yours, i pretty much do what is needed of me for a particular fight.... ( i.e. making sandwiches or whatever )

since march of 2005

What's your raiding experience, both BC and pre-BC? Be specific about what content ("some SSC" is wrong; "Hydross and Lurker" is correct), and be detailed in the roles you played (ie, healer, main tank, off tank, dps):

Pre BC

with my tauren hunter, i was officer in an end game raiding guild. we cleared all of ZG, MC and BWL through chromagg.
we also regularly farmed a few world bosses

ONY, AZY, KAZZAK

as a hunter i was the guild's the main raid puller in both MC and BWL.
and as i mentioned, we all love the the really good old days of kiting drakk in UBRS


and yes i did get my epic hunter's quest and kill all of the demons for my epic bow and staff. that was really fun for me. shortly after that, i ended up rerolling alliance to play with some friends that had rerolled and i never leveled my tauren hunter past 60.


when i rerolled alliance i rolled this priest MILQY.... i played her with friends and then in a raiding guild as a healer. with her i cleared ZG, AQ20, MC and BWL through VTC.......


rolled my hunter KITTYSHOT mostly for fun and pvp.
( shadowmeld+aimed shot was great before it got nerfed ) i missed playing a hunter.

leveled her from 49 to 70 after bc and never did any raiding or much instancing with her at all..... just a bit of pvp and that's about it.

never made it to naxx or AQ40........with any of my toons, and as i said, i've been kinda flying solo since BC.


List all previous guilds, why you've left them, and any drama that may be associated with you:

the guild i was in with my first toon was a lot of ups and downs. it was my first MMORPG and my first experience with playing with large numbers of other people. i was instantly sucked in to the drama and the addiction of it all. i started a guild and grew it up to 130 members and felt very emotionally connected to it. I was always kind of the “mom” figure in the guild. There were several mini dramas on our server including lots of guild splits and mergers that I somehow ended up tangled up in, but nothing more than that.

my raid leader was VERY good at leading us through new content and organizing our raids, but he was also a complete asshole. As a result i spent a lot of time putting out fires.

Why do you wish to join Con Brio?:

i want to express my inner magical pony.

but seriously.....I’m not sure really. I miss playing with a close knit group. Those good old days pre BC were incredibly fun for me. I loved being a part of a team and feeling great when we accomplished something.

over the last year or so, my playing has been very limited because I am at somewhat of a standstill with both of my level 70 characters. My personal life has been too busy to commit to any raiding ( I work until 8pm Monday through Friday ) not to mention that most guilds these days won’t let you raid with the kind of gear I’m wearing….. but I thought I give it another chance before WotLK and hopefully find a group of people I could continue to play with into the next expansion.


What are your expectations of Con Brio?:

well....cookies mostly.

We're more concerned with your personality than what you can bring us as a raider. What can you bring to Con Brio besides what is expected from you as a raider?:

well besides being a card carrying mensa member I am also a professional chef… so I can bring snacks ( theoretical snacks... or virtual snacks or abstract ideas of well crafted snacks ).....and I am someone who will understand all of your monty python references. bottom line: i'm smart and geeky and i have a sense of humor...... i usually bring that wherever i go.

Can you properly use Ventrilo and do you have a mic?:
yes... and if it's broke i'll get a new one.

Are you willing to use Omen and Deadly Boss Mods/ Bigwigs?:

ya.... i'm kind of a mod whore. i currently have big wigs and little wigs , but i'll use whatever mods you want me to.

It's five minutes before the raid is starting; where are you?:

well….. see…. That’s the tricky part. I usually do not get home from work until 8:00 p.m. so unless I can convince my BF to log on and zone in and start for me I may not be on time to raids. starting in january i will be getting off work a little bit earlier at least three days a week.

How do you prepare for new raid content that you've never experienced?:
I troll the web for strats and consult with my class leader to see what they would like my role to be…also… lots of potions, bandages, food, water, ammo and money for repair bills

What's more important- raiding with people you enjoy, experiencing new content, or improving your character?:
eating cookies with people you enjoy while raiding and experiencing new content and thereby improving not only your character but your cookie eating experience.

How do you handle constructive criticism?:
depends on how PMS I am. It also depends on if you are WRONG.

honestly though, I am always eager to learn new ways to play my class better. especially if it is presented to me in a way that is not condescending.

The Person Behind the Pixels

In the event of a zombie invasion, where would you choose to take shelter and what is your weapon of choice to defend yourself?:

Well…. everyone knows the best way to kill a zombie is to pour salt in it’s mouth and sew it shut. So I guess I would take shelter in the supermarket in the spice aisle ( the snack aisle should be only one or two over if I get hungry ) and I would bring a sewing kit….. and a friend…. to do the sewing. I’ll salt, friend can sew. I think it would be faster that way.

now if for some reason i was stuck in a hedge maze and all of the zombies happened to have chain saws... then i might just be a goner.

What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?:

It's two hours into the raid, and we've been consistently wiping on a boss that's easily been on farm for months. The raiding environment- normally upbeat and jovial- is now tense and people are beginning to lose focus and snap at one another. Obviously, there's only one course of action to better the overall mood, and that's to play a song over vent. Which song would you pick?:

Well. I have tattoos and piercings and I do not have cable television. I am a snob and a culture junkie and I have a strong distaste for anything normal. I do not listen to popular music or commercial radio and I love the idea of a deep fried snickers bar. I play scrabble and I love crosswords and other wordplay.
