Most of my free time lately has been devoted to finishing up the NJO series (finally found the last 4 books before Unifying Force, although I think I missed one), and playing around in a Hex editor with TIE95 for the GE. I'm in charge of all mods and patches for the X-wing series, and besides enabling shields for all TIE fighters and enabling ships that TIE95 comes with but doesn't use, I'm supposed to be making ships (ie, hours on end in 3DS, then skinning with Photoshop, then making TIE aware of the damn thing). Many many hours of work in front of a monitor, but I don't mind it. Why the hell am I becomming an engineer?

JayCee: yeah, the timeline itself isn't the issue, it's just been so long since I read an NJO book, that the covers are all familiar, and plot's familiar, it's just confusing whether or not I've read the book. I'm almost done with Force Heretic, but I can't remember if I've read Yselia (and I keep leaning towads haven't).

Since Yselia is an Ebook, then probably not... even I haven't...

In other news:
I've finally started driving for Domino's now, after a few runarounds before they'd let me start (I've been working for them for 4 years already). Got over $10/hr in tips alone, then add money per run and paycheck = a helluva lot more than when I was inside

relating to this:
Yeah, the passing of time really doesn't help at all, especially when you still have vivid dreams about her. Last night, I had one of those dreams where I would've bet money that it was real. As I woke up I was thinking "well I was just with her, so she'll call or stop by like last time", feeling real good, then as I opened my eyes I saw my bedroom clock and started swearing. And the fact that as far as I was concerned, that dream was real, that made the depression of losing her again that much worse. Chances are I'll never see her again anyway, because I hate going to her parents house to have them track her down (and I'm pretty sure they don't like it either). *sigh* grrrrr. As much as I would love these dreams to continue, since just holding her again is great, the fact that it will probably never happen again just makes me want the dreams to stop, since it's basically repeating the loss, and I can't stand it. Anyways, I'm rambling...

woo, our new store opened up, so for the first time I'm actually working in an up-to-date store, fully stocked. I've been in the little shithole Domino's (the only one in the world that hasn't been made all spiffy-lokkin) for 4 years, and now everything is all better Donwside is the new store took a healthy chunk out of my old store's delivery area, but they kept some of the densest residential areas, and tips are down across the board. Over there I could get about $16/hr driving, and now I'm getting about $10/hr. Hopefully it'll pick up as more people figure out the phone number switch (we took the old store's number) and realize we're open.
