Rankings systems go from:

Noob
Padawan
Jedi Knight
Jedi Master
Council
High Council

Issue about banning is that Jaycee/redgold really hopes she won't have to because she isn't trying to let whiny lil #@$@# onto the site, only her friends, so hopefully we won't have to enact the banning power..same goes for threads, the people that she is showing the site too are very mature people and should know better than to double post, flame, etc. So that should be fine

She can contact you later but i think she's going to wait until there are more members for the site to instate any new rules as they come up, more people to moderate forums

As for getting off noob - you have to make so many posts then you will be upgraded to Padawan... and from there... etc....

Now the little blue squares under the title, is that post count, or some sort of user access indicator? (I know the color of the name is access level)

The pips (little blue squares) increase as your rank increases. Noob has one square - Padawan, two - knight, three etc.

You won't make Padawan till you reach 50 posts.

ANd your actual post count is right underneath all that.

I too am new to this format. No one asked my question, so here it is...how do I view my watched posts? I have a couple on watch status, but I don't know if no one has posted in them or not. Is there a direct indicator of new posts somewhere that I'm not seeing?

When you "Track" a topic, which is what I'm assuming you did since there is no "watch" feature but it's the same thing, this is how you view them.

Go to My Controls which is in the upper bar with your log-in name.

From there look down the left hand side for Subscriptions. You want "View Topics".

I'm not really sure what all that does, I haven't actually dealt with it myself. But it will show all the topics you marked for later, and whether anything has been posted to them.

So I am like some others on here and that is I am totally new to all this in that RvB was my first forum and I am still figuring things out on there. I think this site is totally awesome and we should have some fun. Also does being higher ranked do anything I mean do I get more priveleges or something or just more respect?
