This series started before I was born and was a major part of my tv watching life. As well as watching I read Dr.Who books,annuals and I even had the board game.

There's considerable resentment towards Christopher Ecclestone for announcing he's only doing one season but he only signed a 1 year contract.

The BBC announced they were commissioning further seasons to cash in on the media attention and Eccleston acted honestly. Now Tennant is officially The Next Doctor I wonder if he will simply step into the part or if the next season will start with a regeneration scene.

If the latter,then there will only be two "lives" left for the Time Lord unless the BBC decides to ignore established canon.

Who knows what they will do... but I'm sure they will figure it out...

unfortunately, I've been missing episodes... damn work schedule!!

I've been watching all of them, although I missed the last 15 minutes of the latest episode since i was going out for dinner. I can't believe Eccleston left after one series. He's a damn cool Doctor!

I wonder why he bailed? Damn, I really liked him as The Doctor. Is there any chance he will change his mind or any word if/when this incarnation will be coming out on DVD?

Well you probaly all know this all ready but the Doctor transformed in to his next body in the season finaly so i guess he will not be coming back. He seemed good to me but he was the first doctor that i saw.

This next doctor is cuter... hehehe

- the last one was the one where the alien in a robot transformed into semihuman and killed itself because he was differant.

i have to say they're not too bad - are they new plots or remakes?

Bummer. I have the season finale on tape, but it is at home and unfortunately I am not. :sad: I need to remember to watch it.
