Glad that worked out, maybe you didn't copy the whole link before or something?

Neken, I'd looe to see the battlesystem. The only thing that's still missing is music wink.gif

BTW: Maybe a bit off topic, but which music filetypes does C++ read and what's the easiest to use?

Depends of what Music library you use.

FMOD is the most common and simplist. Loads most sound files
OpenAL is 3D so you can make sounds louder and quieter easily. Loads most sound files
Yagl uses OpenAL for it's sound but makes it easier to understand.
Allegro has sound (i think) but i'm not sure what it's capabilities are or what it can load.

Most load most sound files. .OGG files aren't as commonly compabible but some still load them *cough* Yagl *cough*

Again, that question is kinda weird ... since approx. everything is made with c++ (winamp i think, windows media player) ....

and c++ do not read music ... your program does .... i mean, c++ does not have properties like "it reads music, it displays graphics" ALL langage can do that ...

stop portraying a langage by it's libraries, and compare the langages by it's possibilities (as a langage), it's ease of use, it's power, etc. etc. etc.

Sorry unsure.gif , I didn't mean it that way...

I was just wondering about music in games. I don't know everything about coding and C++ either, so that's why I asked...Gsus!

And TheDarkJay, thanks for the explanation.

Anyway, back to the topic laugh.gif

Try this: nGame PathFinding

It's a little C++ program to test pathfinding algorithm.

You will need DirectX 9b or better and .NET Framework 2.0
