On the night of January 18th, Shawn Noel committed suicide.
Shawn Noel was one of the most devoted independant game makers of our time. He showed expert work on his many games(Jetz Rampage, Infection) and never backed down.
Shawn Noel will not be forgotten. He was quite possibly considered one of the greatest GameMaker creators of all time. His games: Perfect. His memory: Forever.

If members want to pay their last respects, please post at the topic at the GameMaker Community.

I can't understand it. His games were extremely good and he was known as a great gamemaker. Whatever his motives were, may he rest in peace,,,

Poor Shawn's Family, He died, but I feel sorry to his family because they had a so moron guy. Suicide...is lack of repect to the life, so moron action. People writing songs about that, he's not god of gamemakers, jsut an stupid who though suicide would make him go outta the problems.
Arg, he sais in his msn space he hated life, and he would meet a person who would shoot him.
do anybody should care by a person who said game over to his life because he was a moron? I don't feel bad, I feel bad for people saying poor shawn.

Yes, is a MEAN reply, because makes me mad such actitude is take as a woohoo thing
