very impressive. Ran very smoothly, but the sprite creator was confusing at first, but if I spent more time with it I can learn more about it.
Neken - September 25, 2005 01:26 AM (GMT)
Well, for the moment, you can use the sprite creator to change ressources in the game, or create your own tileset for the tilemap creator.
Well, i just thaught of that, i need to include a protected mode for my ressources so people can't do this :P
soten355 - September 25, 2005 01:30 AM (GMT)
well, in any case, this is pretty good. I hope when it's finished that it will be very cool. nice work

Neken - January 11, 2006 05:46 PM (GMT)
Hey guys, i really need to know if it work properly on your comps ... if it runs at a constant 60 to 70 fps, if the fullscreen works, if it loads the images properly etc.
Neken - January 13, 2006 03:19 AM (GMT)
Hey guys, i REALLY REALLY need that someone test it ....
gamehawk - January 13, 2006 09:29 PM (GMT)
Good graphics, but how does it work?
Edit: I had one error trying to load a BMP.
Neken - January 15, 2006 04:00 PM (GMT)
how did it happen ?
were you loading the editor.bmp or another one ?
gamehawk - January 15, 2006 04:01 PM (GMT)
Neken - January 15, 2006 04:34 PM (GMT)
alright, try to take your bmp, open it up with paint, save as anywhere else, and use the newly saved one to import ...
maybe you used a bmp with some compression, or with another format or anything ....

Neken - January 16, 2006 05:31 PM (GMT)
For those who wanted to see my rpg game, good news :D i've pratically "re-done" it :P
Neken - January 19, 2006 08:52 PM (GMT)
Well, ive finished release 2 ... so you can go check it out ... and tell me how much "fps" you get !
I'm currently working on the battles, so there aren't any in this one ...
Don't forget that F1 switches between games and programs !
netman - January 19, 2006 08:55 PM (GMT)
got about 300-360 fps with the game.
and for about 170-200 in both program's
really nice job though.
I really like the lightning effects and collisions(in the game like).
Stenny - January 21, 2006 12:56 PM (GMT)
Thank you!
I'm just a beginner with C++ (yet I know GM), but since I saw your game I am now officialy sure that you can also have grfx with C++, and that this is the right way towards proffesional Gamecreating,
Btw, my FPS was 500-600
Btw2, Can you get out of the cave?
Neken - January 21, 2006 07:54 PM (GMT)
Eheh, not really, if you look it the the map editor (F1 twice) and load the maps, you'll see there's only one :P

Lol, i just read it a second time ...
You really need my game to see that you can do graphx with c++ ?
Every single of today's games are made with c++ ... console games like halo 2, pc games like wow, there are all made with c++ and directx or opengl ...
Mxine - January 23, 2006 10:35 PM (GMT)
i just have to know what program do you use to make a game like that?!
