Trades are a part of the CN Baseball, and are a way for you to raise or lower your (hidden) strength factor.

The trading window begins after game # 28 and are open through game #56. There are 2 types of trades:

1) Push to playoffs: This type of trade will increase your current season strength by 1/2 a point (current ranges are from 2 to 7) but gives a -1 penalty to determining your following year strength.* This is like trading away your prospects to get veteran leadership this year. Owners may only have two (2) trades of this sort.

2) Build for next year: This trade reduces your current season strength by 1/2 and gives a 1/2 point bonus for the next season. This is like getting prospects for giving away veterans. Owners may be involved in three (3) trades in this category.

No team is forced to any certain number of trades, and there is no interaction between teams, so you do not have to find a match for your trade. I may change this, if it is feasible, to make owners find a matching owner to trade with (I am unsure about how active owners want to be.)

If trades become too one-sided, I reserve the right to halt trading at any point. To announce a trade, you must create a thread in the Owner's lounge and state which type of trade you are initiating.
