QUOTE
GEELONG will regain two premiership players for its Friday night clash with Adelaide at AAMI Stadium, with full-back Matthew Scarlett and sparky forward Mathew Stokes to resume.

Scarlett has recovered from the hamstring injury sustained against North Melbourne in round 12 and further strengthens a Cats side that is beginning to show its juggernaut traits of 2007.

And Stokes will complement the side's goalkicking stocks, named in a forward pocket after shaking a knee complaint.

Making way for the pair is defender Harry Taylor and Brent Prismall, though both have been retained as emergencies with Ryan Gamble.

Adelaide has selected utility player Kris Massie for his fourth match of the year while former Power midfielder Brad Symes will play his seventh since moving from the cross-town rival.

They have been named on the interchange with Richard Douglas and Scott Stevens.

However, the Crows have lost star half-back Andrew McLeod to a knee injury – which may ground him for four weeks – while Luke Jericho has been dropped.

Neil Craig has declared his side will pursue an attacking game, but Massie could be used in his traditional tagging role on one of the Cats' many dangerous midfielders and forwards.

The Sydney Swans have recalled ruckman Peter Everitt for their clash with Collingwood at ANZ Stadium on Saturday night.

Everitt's inclusion is the only change made by the Swans in a six-game winning streak, as they look to reverse a trend that has seen the Magpies claim the last four encounters between the two sides.

The 34-year-old replaces dual Brownlow Medallist Adam Goodes, who is serving a one-match suspension to miss his first senior game since round 22, 1999.

Everitt has sat out the Swans' last two games with a hamstring strain, adding to the woes that saw him sidelined for the opening six rounds with a knee injury.

It'll be his sixth match of the season and, with Darren Jolly enjoying a solid year on the ball, could be used to stretch the Magpies in defence.

Collingwood suggested on Wednesday that goalkicking ruckman Josh Fraser could make his return from a knee injury, however, he will take extra time with centre half-forward Travis Cloke, small forward Leon Davis and defender Shane Wakelin named.

Cloke served a one-game suspension while Wakelin has recovered from illness, boosting a line-up that looked to concede height to the Swans.

They'll hope Davis will give the attack some impetus in the absence of Anthony Rocca (ankle) and Ben Reid (foot), both injured in the round 13 clash with the Western Bulldogs.
Alan Toovey has been omitted, named as an emergency with John Anthony and Danny Stanley.

Stokes and Scarlett big inclusion in tonights game and they shown they can play without this two, They have dropped Talyor and Prismall who play fantastic football last year and would be in any time in the AFL but not geelong... Back to Back looks very comfortable ohmy.gif
