Title: Should the roos get the 4 points or not

ElChriSSo - April 30, 2008 08:23 AM (GMT)
i think they should sydney cheated with 19 men on field

Go_Kangas - April 30, 2008 10:14 AM (GMT)
i reackon they should indeed.... if jolly wasnt on the field the roos might of won the match.

TheDuckFan - April 30, 2008 10:14 AM (GMT)
Yes.

We were robbed, its 18 v 18 not fucking 18 v 19.

The score should not count as it happened while 19 men were playing for sydney.

White was the 19th man, not Jolly.
White didn't influence the play.

Now DuckFan, please care to tell me why you were robbed?

Ok.

They played and scored while 19 men on the ground.

For 18 years that i can say i have been around, the rules have always stated 18 v 18. How on earth with the Coach on the bench you can send a 19th man out onto the field and only realize or act on it after 30 seonds is bullshit.

White affected the game, he became another player in their zone. Don't Let Adrian Anderson spoon feed you bullshit that he was no where near the ball.

They changed the decision of the gae in the siren issue in tassie, why not for us?
Ill tell you why, because the AFL hate us.

Im 100% sure if it happened to your team you would want the points as you find points hard to come by when its a level playing field(18v18)

Bluebaggers - April 30, 2008 01:46 PM (GMT)
LOL they gave freo the points in tassie BECAUSE THE SIREN FUCKING WENT, AND BAKER KICKED A PT AFTER THE SIREN!
You can't honestly say this has equivalence.
Massive difference from this scenario.

White did NOT effect the match. Get me a video and show me he stopped the Kangas kicking it to a spot where he was, or even to show me if he was anywhere near the fwd line. Until then he gets the benefit of the doubt.

They pulled off the nearest player ( Jolly) when they realised they had an extra man on.

if it was a match involving my team i would say we didn't deserve the two points, unless the 19th man effected play. if he didn't, then we only get 2 pts.

So you are trying to tell me that White just stood in the centre by himself like a stunned mulet?

He would have joined the Zone, not his fault at al. He is a young kid.

Fishguts - May 1, 2008 10:50 AM (GMT)
I don't believe they should receive the points. If this happened early in the game, would this thread exist? no, people get excited when they don't get their favoured results, they look for exuses that for some reason count because it was near the end of the match, and if i'm not mistaken, didn't sydney kick a goal that they counted as a point.

Bluebaggers - May 1, 2008 11:42 AM (GMT)
Correct Fishguts.

DuckFan, I'm not saying he stood anywhere. Your argument that wherever he stood ("The Zone" wherever or whatever you conceive that to be) effected the outcome is weak, it's mere bullshit.
It is his fault that he was the 19th player.

Iamthetiger - May 2, 2008 06:35 AM (GMT)
Ofcourse they should get the 4pts. However the afl have made there point. They dont give a stuff about what happened one bit. However I would really like to see come the end of round 22 The kangaroos miss out on the finals by 2pts or top4 or something. Then we will see the stink in this issue. The afl are idiots they really are and anderson as well.

Bluebaggers - May 2, 2008 09:27 AM (GMT)
kangaroos do not deserve 4 pts. white didn't influence the game, the end.

x Rachii x - May 2, 2008 10:16 AM (GMT)
[B]Kangas should get the 4points they deserve! sydney cheated and they're a dirty team anyway!.. with the 'tunneling' and now this!.. wats next! plus during round 7 they have a new guy playing his debut game so wats going to stop him from doing wat white did last wk? lol give it the roo boiis!! :+

Geng Bang - May 2, 2008 10:25 AM (GMT)
Lol many teams "tunnel", not just Sydney. I don't think any defender actually consciously tries to take out the forward's legs. It's only coz Little Nick is a massive sook and decided to complain...

Go_Kangas - May 2, 2008 10:26 AM (GMT)
lol im over this.... there is nothing to argue about anymore because north aren’t taking this any further... so there is no point arguing about this... and at the end of the day both teams got way with 2points... its better than 0points.
