I know, I know the book has been out for ages but who's actually read Harry Potter and the half blooded prince yet?! I havent been able to, unless u count reading the first chapter in asda but I do know that someone important dies!

i thought the storyline was okay but did it seem to you like it was only half-done. i had the feeling that it was too much like a draft, the finished product from J.K. deserves to be better than that.

Losing her touch or losing sight of her writing because she can't see over her stacks of money. I think she probably rushed it becausee of the pressure placed on her by editors/publishers, i don't think they'd give her allowances for writer's block etc.

I watched something on bbc learning zone at 4am this morning (having trouble sleeping), and Jacqueline Wilson was saying that she tends to rush her books at the end because like us readers, she wants to know the ending, she gets excited about the ending.
She also said that she likes to leave them on a cliffhanger (usually a happy cliffhanger in her case though), so that we readers are waiting on tenterhooks for the next book.
I think J.K Rowling had her reasons for the way it ended, but I still don't like the ending.
