If an angel were a demon
And the same the other way
What would their lives be like
As the time passed day by day
Demons wearing halos
And singing lullabies
Using soft white wings
To fly across the skys
Angels clutching pitchforks
And wearing malicious grins
Tails swishing and eyes glowing
Each time a mortal sins
But angels wear the halos
And sing sweet songs on high
They wing about the universe
Touching the stars as they go by
Demons clutch their pitchforks
And gaze with leering eyes
At the winged beings flying
Throughout the starlit skys
One a tower of goodness
Another a pit of hate
A being full of glory
And one of a damned fate
On opposite sides they stand
Gazing into the worlds existence
Interfering in the lives of mortals
Withstanding all resistence
So come the rays of tomorrow
A changing reflection of the past
Beyond the knowledge of the universe
And eternity far surpassed.
This poem is alright. There is some of it i don't like very much and its not really that great. This isn't how i personally think of angels, demons and their lives and such. I kinda went with the general view. Some of it doesn't go too smoothly and some parts are shakey, even to me. I'm not sure what all of it means quite yet and the rhyming isn't too great...But oh well...i'm putting it up anyways...
