A breeze raked over the grounds of a large shrine, a priest and a few others that were his apprentices, deciples, and such other holy figures stood watching him from inside the shrine, poking their heads out of the sliding door to watch him intently. Oh,it was such a sight for them. An angel in their midst, praying at the koi pond, basking in the silence that lingered around them. In fact, Kai was not a true angel. He was an arch-angel, fallen against the one and only god. Who he was praying to was not the almighty, but the thousands of them that ran along in the sky, asking them to lift the curse he had on his shoulders. They would never do it, he knew. Even if they could, or would, the fact that he had decided that they could not, even before they tried, was enough to keep them away.

That and the fact that Rahn, the man who had cursed him, would probably curse or skin them alive.

Shaking slightly, wings quivering on his back, Kai unfolded his hands and opened his eyes, long lashes fluttering against pale creme colored skin, which looked somewhat darker in the light from the sunset. Kai rested his hands on his bare legs and then stood, brushing dirt from his knees and the legwarmer-type lace cloth on his feet. His feet were clad in socks that went almost to his knees, and then he wore sandals on his feet. His body was adorned with a black lace dres-like item, though it only fell to the middle of his thighs. Under it was a pair of very short shorts that were made of the same material. His hands were clad in black leather and lace and his neck had a sort of collar on it. Kai definitely wasn't the ideal sort of angel, but to these priests, it was probably the closest they would ever get.

Kai looked towards the shrine and the priest instantly shouldered the others away, shutting the screen door and giving Kaiden his privacy, which was deeply wanted. Shaking his head slightly, the wings on his back flapped a few time and he took into the air, before lightly landing on a railing that was right over the koi pond. The male stretched his arms out t the side for balance, before he dropped them slightly and twirled, sandals clicking on the railing and he spun about, wondering if he would fall, or be able to keep his balance.
