 Los Angeles, the city that inhabits both Angels as well as Fallen Angels. Its just as busy during the day as during the night, though the nights are much less safe. The darkness isn't the only thing that creeps into the streets as the sun goes down, because there are beings that prefer the darker hours to be walking in the city and having their kind of fun. The city has been in the interest of many species and while mortals have most control during the day, the night is in the hands of Kindred and other supernatural beings. The Kindred are represented in each area of the city, each area does have a person of authority to keep track of things and of course to keep a sense of control. Then there is the person whom is in charge of the city, the prince, the one whom the representatives report to. However things have started to stir within Los Angeles as rumors started to go around that an ancient relic was discovered and to create even more problems it appeared that the prince disappeared without a trace. Enough eyes have been set on acquiring that newly 'freed' position but that spot is unlikely to be taken without any bloodshed. And then there is that ancient relic, what kind of influences will that have? Especially since the first rumors told of it being a Kindred related relic, though now rumors say it could also be related to the Lupines and some even mention the Gifted... |

Sacred Heart Medical Center
Even though in this large white building work a lot of people whom are excellently qualified, most people rather don't visit the Sacred Heart. But in case you are feeling sick, or you have been injured, or even when you feel drained then a small visit to this medical facility can't hurt. The doctors and nurse will do whatever they can to make you feel better again, and you can count on them to do so. Medical teams are always on standby since a lot of things happen in the city. Let's just hope that they aren't waiting for you to be rushed in. |

Gallery Noir
Art is something that is appriciated by both mortals as well as Kindred. Some pieces are admired for their beauty and artistic creativity, while others are valued for what they tell. Inside Gallery Noir you can find both kinds of art, displayed in the halls and rooms of the building. In the back is a special section which is mostly ignored by mortals but Kindred find the four paintings in there quite important as they represent the story of Caine. There is one other interesting room in the gallery because besides the regular collection there are also pieces that are auctioned off after being on display. |

Absinthe's Mint
Even though Absinthe is an illegal drink this daunting mega club isn't but they do share something: Popularity. Absinthe's Mint is quite popular with the crowd as multiple dancefloors give the visitors something enjoy, sometimes resulting in nights to remember since there's often someone to find to share the dancefloor with while the DJ's keep spinning the records so there is music to dance on. And next to that the bartenders provide you with the most amazing drinks that you want and they even giving good shows while they prepare your drinks. |

Venice Beach
The three miles of sandy beach form the perfect place for some relaxation. It is separated from the city by a long line of palm trees and the famous boardwalk that runs along it, where besides walking they ride their bikes or roll along on their rollerskates. So when you cross the boardwalk to do some tanning or swimming, be careful not to get runover by them. And after the sun sets this place is perfect for a walk across the beach or maybe even a small beach party around a nice bonfire. |

She-Nannigans
This diner has that old-school 50's charm that never seems to fade, so pull up a vinyl stool at the eating bar, or simply take a seat by a booth or table. The menu is actually quite simple and you don't have to expect too much of the things that are made in the kitchen here, which is nothing too fancy though as it mainly serves fast food, salads and sandwhiches. The quality isn't high but its fast and cheap so don't complain too much about it. |

Santa Monica Pier
Santa Monica Pier is one of the famous places within Los Angeles, the pier reaches out into the sea and provides its visitors not only with an amazing view. It also offers some entertainment in the form of Pacific Park, of which the large ferris wheel is one of attention pulling attractions. Though there are also small shops, restaurants and even an arcade located on the pier. Its easy to say that the lights make things a beautiful sight and place. Neighborhood Residences
Many decent houses are located in the Westside area of Los Angeles. The houses here are reasonably in size and quality but even more they aren't that expensive either compared to some of the other areas in town. The only slightly more expensive residences can be found on the boulevard which separates the residences from the ocean. With the higher price comes a good view and an almost direct access to the beach so its worth it. But also the other houses in the area are nice to live in. |

Apartment Complex
The Westside area isn't a fancy area to live but its reasonably priced and the buildings here are quite decent. Near the boulevard you'll find this apartment complex. If you are lucky you'll have one of the apartments on the second floor where you can see the ocean, however there aren't many of that. None the less its a nice place too and not to mention it has an affordable price for most people. |

Law enforcement can be found in every city and thus also in Los Angeles. Operating from this old building the men and women of the LAPD set out to make the streets safe again. Whether its something small like a mugging or a bigger case they are devoted to solve their cases. And even in the darkness of the night there are always men and women there to watch the streets and help the innocent. This club is always on the cutting edge of current music and style trends. It has four different bars, a huge dancefloor, and a VIP Room overlooking the entire club from behind a two-way mirror. Elder Library
This building was formerly known as the Los Angeles Public Library, it still houses the library though it is now known as the Elder Library. Most mortals don't even know that the origins of the new name lies in the Kindred world as they dubbed the place like this once and ever since the name stuck around. Though more important are the many aisles with books on various subjects, from advanced literature to historical books you can find most books in here. |

Confessions
This former place of holyness is now a place of sin. Located in an old church you'll find this appropriately named club, Confessions. Add in the setting of gothic darkness and you have an unique place for an amazing experience. With the benches gone there is enough space to dance, surrounding the place are booths of which you can sit down and relax. For more private areas one should climb the tower since there you will find the club's VIP Rooms. |

Los Angeles News Station
The News Station is a quite recognisable building. Not only because of the nice sign on the front of the building but also the tall antenna standing on the roof of it is slightly a give away. Inside its always quite busy as there is always news that needs attention. The station can be divided into two sections: Those who are responsible for the local news paper, which are mainly found working on the second floor, and those who take care of the news broadcasts on both radio and television. They work on the first floor of the news building. |

Hard Rock Café
A formidable place where you can eat and relax in the atmosphere of the good old days. Swinging music can always be heard inside, as Rock n' Roll is what makes this place what it is. All around you you'll find items and relics that share a memory with that music, many pieces represent artists from that era. It's the place to come for a nice quick meal, though its not appriciated that Kindred feed on the customers. Tasty burgers and good music that is what the Hard Rock is all about. |

At first this old building doesn't look much and some of its area indeed are old fashioned. But whether you visit the old boxing ring with the surrounding sparring area or the modern fitness room with the latest equipment, there is one thing that they have in common the good old smell of worked up sweat. Sometimes added with blood and tears. And after a nice workout you can either take a nice shower or spend some time doing a few laps in the pool. |

The Last Round
If you are looking for the more alcoholic drinks then the Last Round is the place to be. This old pub isn't one of the neatest places as there is a rough atmosphere hanging around here. Fights do happen here in this dark bar as lights are always quite low and the eagerness for a drink and fight is reasonably high. Then again with Lupines around that always seems to be the case, especially in places like this which they claimed as theirs. |

The Barony's Haven
The haven of the Downtown Barony is located inside a nice apartment building. The lowest floor is commonly used by people visiting or attending other businesses. On the second floor you can find the baron or baroness and a few other important figures from this barony. The floors above that provide residence to those whom want to live in this haven. |

Neighborhood Residences
There aren't many real houses to be found in the Downtown area due to the fact that everything is closely build together. Those who have one of those house do have the possession of a small garden in the back. Others will have to settle with a place inside a building shared with others but they do get more space for themselves compared to those whom live in an apartment. But again the prices here are fairly high since it allows you to live close to the most important places in the city. |

The apartments in the Downtown area of Los Angeles are considered to be reasonably pricy and not to mention they aren't that big. The Orchid is a place like no other inside you'll find one of the most exclusive places around in Los Angeles. A beautiful lounge forms the center piece of this club. The Grove Mall
Looking for a nice way to spend the day or evening and do some nice shopping in the process then the Grove is a place worth visiting. Outside is enough parking space for its visitors and as you approach the entrance you'll walk past a beautiful fountain which is near the entrance. Inside you'll find many different kinds of stores to visit, and even a few café's to sit and relax for a moment, spread across the two levels of shopping pleasure. Travelling between the two levels is done by either the escallators or the elevators in order to make things as easy as possible while you're busy to find something of your liking, which you certainly will during your visit to this mall. |

Griffith Park
This park consists out of many acres of natural terrain. Mighty trees and other natural marvels fill the urban wilderness of the park. Winding trails allow people to travel through the park's chapparal foothills to the forested valleys as their are many differences in the elevation here. Amidst the green are also some recreational attractions to be found, for example the Observatory that stands on the higher grounds of the park and which can be reached by the cable cars. But like many places where trees and bushes make up for the majority of the surroundings, its not safe to be here at night. Forget the sevens as this is the place to be to try your luck. Triple 6's offers the entertainment that you seek if you have a load of cash that you are willing to loose. Roll some dice, play some cards and see if you can bust the bank before it busts you. A lot of money goes here over the tables and sometimes also something under the tables, but don't try to cheat. Camera's are in place and they do have an eye out for Kindred as well. Oh, and don't start whining if they throw you out when you are broke as it won't help you a bit. |

Grand Prestige Theatre
The grand stage of the Prestige is the place where many masterpieces of performing arts are being shown. Whether its a classical play, ballet, a concert or other event that takes place, the crowd willingly takes places on the many seats in front of the stage. For more private seats one can use one of the balconies of the theater. Like the mortals, the Kindred society also enjoys the shows that are being brought to the audience but sometimes when there are no shows late at night Kindred gather here for meetings. |

After Sunset Motel
If you think that everything in Hollywood is nice and fancy then you're sadly mistaken. Because the After Sunset is actually a quite cheap place to stay but you definitely don't have to expect anything in return for it. The rooms here are simple with not much to offer nor does the motel offer any interesting entertainment. Between the two wings you can find a pool, but you don't want to dive into it since it has been empty as long as people can remember. |

Hollywood Hills' Cemetery
Behind the iron gates you'll find a quiet place, as here is where the dead ones find their final resting place. The grey of the many tombstones is separated by some occassional green as small bushes and even trees are found scattered around the cemetery grounds. Like most cemeteries you'll first have to walk past the older graves to reach the area where people where burried more recently, which is the area past the old mausoleum. |

This is the place where the rich and famous live. Forget residences when you can own an luxurious estate. Living here is a priviledge only for those whom have enough money to afford a place here. Usually they are surrounded by walls, fences or hedges and have a nice driveway which leads from the street up to the luxurious building where the owner resides. |

For many a residence in Hollywood is way too expensive, but an apartment is for them a little easier to afford. None the less it has to be said that there aren't that many apartments in Hollywood, because even though they are spacious and quite comparable to luxurious hotel suite its still nothing compared to the houses around here. When it comes to an amazing dining experience then the Empress Pavilion is the place to go. The food that the chefs here bring forth is simply divine. When walking past this small store on the edge of Chinatown you already can smell the scent of various herbs. Inside you'll find many racks made out of bamboo with various bottles and other containers filled with herbs and potions. In Moriko's you can buy individual herbs and alternative medication, all prepared in a careful way. They even are willing to prepare potions on request but the owner refuses to make potions or sell herbs that can risk someone's health. |

Sometimes its just is good to take some time to relax and the Lotus Blossom is the perfect place to do so. This spa offers muscle relaxing and knot removing massages that bring your body to rest. Every area has its popular club and in Chinatown the Nest is the place to be. It's a high tech club featuring the newest trends when it comes to clubbing. An always full dancefloor and swinging beats make this place quite popular with the youngsters. And since the mortals like to come here a lot, so do the Kindred as its easy to hunt here. Elders don't favor this place as much, since they usually dislike the choice of music here so the youngsters do enjoy a bit more freedom here. |

This tea house is reknown for its wide selection in teas, each and everyone of a high quality. The Temple Of Eternal Serenity
The grounds of the temple are famous for its sheer beauty. Many exotic plants grow here together with beautiful Sakura trees. Amidst it you'll find the the temple but also various pagoda's and ponds. A few of the pagoda's are used for special activities, such as tea ceremonies. While the place is commonly known as a holy place, the fact that Kindred visit it as well does tell otherwise. So at night it might not always be as safe as you think. |

Neighborhood Residences
Chinatown is actually a quite dense neighborhood with many buildings build closely next to each other. As a result there aren't too many houses that have a large garden around here. But in return you'll be getting an most amazing atmosphere. The unique eastern architecture is amazing to see. Whether the buildings are of the old generation or of the modern one, they all have something special. Not to mention the luxuries that some of the buildings here have. |

Apartment Complex
Chinatown is always a cheap place to live when you choose an apartment here. The places are actually quite decently sized compared to apartments in other areas of the city and even quite luxurious. A downside is that some things are of a lesser quality, the thin walls being the most noticable thing since when you have bad luck you might end up with a noisy neighbor since the walls aren't exactly soundproof here. |

Streets & Backways
Streets are running across the town in many directions, allowing you to travel from one place to another. And its hard to do so without using one of the many streets. But the alleys and backways of Los Angeles provide shortcuts to take and next to that they don't have that many streetlights so you're less quickly spotted when moving through them. But keep in mind that the darkness also conceals others, so taking a shortcut through the alleys isn't always the safest choice to make. |

Union Station
Union Station is one of the famous landmarks in Los Angeles. This great railway station has a massive and ornate waiting room and adjacent ticket concourse. It is actually considered small in comparison to other Union Stations in the country. It acts as a hub for all the public transport in Los Angeles as besides the trains you can also hop on a bus or take the Underground to get further across the city. |

Los Angeles International Airport
Los Angeles International is one of the busiest airports in the world. It is always busy in the terminals as many flights arrive and depart each day on the airports' runways. Besides the big airlines there are also occassional private jets coming in or departing. Even at night this is quite a busy place, but keep in mind that a busy place isn't always a safe place. As after all Kindred do travel as well, so be careful when you take a night flight. |

Port Of Los Angeles
This booming seaport not only sustains its competitive edge with record-setting cargo operations. The docksides are filled with huge cranes, massive warehouses and large collections of sea containers which have either just arrived or are waiting to be lifted onboard of one of the ships. Yet the Port is also known for some of it's lesser attractive sides, as warehouses are being used for more than legal business only and after nightfall things can become suddenly unsafe here. |

Angeles' National Forest
In contrast to the nearby city, the Angeles offers natural environments, spectacular scenery, developed campgrounds and picnic areas, swimming, fishing, and the solitude of quiet wilderness areas. Winding throughout the forest are trails for hikers, equestrians, mountain bikers and off-highway vehicle enthusiasts. But beware of some wild animals around here as some might be not as friendly as you think and help might not always be around. |

Los Angeles Mountain Range
On the north side of Los Angeles you'll find the Los Angeles Mountain Range, which stretches from the Santa Monica Mountains to the San Gabriel Mountains with miles of soft rolling hills and wooded backcountry. But the further you travel the more rocky and rougher the area gets, not to mention unsafer when you travel up higher into the mountains. You might stumble onto a few caverns in the area as well, but be careful as though most are unoccupied there are some which do have inhabitants and they aren't always friendly. |

Moonlit Caverns
Hidden inside the mountains that surround Los Angeles you'll find networks of tunnels and cavern chambers, one of these networks is known as the Moonlit Caverns and is home to a pack of Lupines. While the entrance looks like a pretty regular cave it's actually quite well guarded and trespassing isn't something which is taken lightly by them. |
