How It Began...

The Time Was Near...

The year was 2020 and the city of New York was one of the many cities that now lies in catastrophic ruin. In the aftermath of what had been referred to as the Witching Wars; a series of civil wars that took place around the states with humans against the supernatural. It began in 2010 when the United States President was attacked and murdered by a crazed vampire that had been acting upon a conspiracy within the White House, suspecting that humans were not to be trusted. The attack had been considered an act of terrorism, and vampires, as well as lycan alike, were stripped of all their rights of the state. Eventually nothing but devastation was left in the wake. Many fled to the European countries, while others stayed and fought it out. It had only been few that stayed behind, many of which that did not survive.

For The Sun to Set

After the Wars began to subside, Various creatures had nowhere to go. The battles had left many homeless, lost, and confused, lacking organized groupings to hold them together. There had been little order and structure left throughout the states. 2020 has seemed to bring some glimpse of new light. Those that fled had returned from the eastern countries to find or salvage what was once abandoned. At the same time, it seems that the wars have brought on the attention of older creatures, ones that have lived in silence throughout the known world. New forms are looming over the forgotten lands and paved streets of the once illuminating New York City, as well as other states yet to be known. Little do many know, that what seems new, might not be after all…

What Is Normally Left To Shadow

The prestigious Vampire Council have been wiped down to nothing, and newer masters of its scattered lines fighting for control like scavengers. The unsightly chaos has only awakened the true and ancient predecessors of their kind, the Val-kin; and they have not come alone. With them, they have brought along various other species at their sides including; Moon Lupine, Valors, even those uttered to be Demon. Unaware of these events, the newest Master of NYC is in the midst of having the city repaired, while others are left are busy attempting to start anew in other areas. Still, the conflict has left a shortage of lycanthropes and vampires, leaving a drooping economy. While business has returned somewhere close to normal in a slow progression, many are still unsure of the roaming nightlife, and how to rebuild the once flourishing financial system.

To Soon Come To Light

As many have come to know, New York is the City that never sleeps. The Big Apple. The home to Lady Liberty. Diamonte Vordor, the Val-kin Grand Master to that of the Blazen line, has been Master and overseer of New York State since the day it had first been built from the ground up. However, Val-kin are not the type to enjoy being seen, and Master Diamonte’ has decided it was time for him to change that, to help introduce the secrets that the world has been hiding. Unfortunately, the Great Hell-Raiser, has been cut down mysteriously…killed with little trace or answers to his death; leaving his esteemed daughter Grand Master Tenitha Night to reign in his place. There was once hope that with his guidance, the recovery of balance between the preternatural and natural will be successfully restored. Now this responsibility, and that of much more, falls onto her shoulders.

And About Every Corner

Many open wounds have been left within all areas of the States and there are those that are not so easily healed. Those who dwell within the deep dark unfriendly shadows have been eyeing for an opportunity to arise as well. Not everything that was awoken from the depths has been friendly, along with business that could cause the lives of many more to be lost. Rumors still hum that the President’s death is surrounded in conspiracy, yet no conspirators had been found after throughout the investigation. In addition, this has left acres of land open for those who wish to conquer and dwell. Nevertheless, New York’s left over remnants and battle scarred veterans (Supernatural and Natural alike) have kept a wary eye on the new comers, ready to introduce them to their version of hell.

Is A Trail of Darkness

After much delegation from the State’s left over Congress, the rights between those of the preternatural, and those of the natural were reestablished. Unfortunately, with certain things taken into consideration, it was decided that these beings should be kept in check at nearly all times. Launched by the United States Government, there is now a hunter organization by the name of Hells Bells Inc, which specializes in a type of “Homeland Security” through Martial Law. They are lead by the mysterious Michael Bell and his series of merciless Generals. Despite the fact that their methods are frowned upon, they have been seen as a useful tools when the going gets tough. On the other end, there is a group of criminals that have found it fit to play equal, if not superior to these odds with these tactful mercenaries. The Brotherhood of Blood, a band of supernatural beings and an age-old pirate organization, have also reared their clever heads in assistance to their old friends. Led by the notorious Commander Cruz Archer and his blood-thirsty Crusadors, they have seen it as their duty to remind Mister Bell and his men, that they won’t be so easily taken over.

Just Before The Dawn

It is now year 2021, one year after the initial process of rebuilding broken lives. The progress will and already has proved difficult and there is no doubt of more bloodshed in what should be a brighter future. Then again, freedom was never an easy bargain. Just when the world thought they’d seen monsters…they ain’t seen nothin’ yet…
