Applying for Citizenship

(1) ~ First things first, you will need to register a character. It has been decided after much consideration that all characters must have a first and last name and that you will need register your account as such.
There are no qualifiers here, however if you chose a completely unacceptable name for whatever reason you will find it very difficult to pass beyond the application process into full membership at Bell, Book & Candle.

(2) ~ If you have not done so already, please take a moment to read through the Introduction threads and the Civil Law threads. These will not only help you gain insight into the world you are about to enter, but will help you avoid anything that might slip you up in the application process and in playing at Bell, Book & Candle. As this game is set in a very defined universe - however small - you do need to familiarise yourself with the basic details.

(3) ~ I'm not a fan of the quiz method for testing prospective players about the rules and regulations and other aspects, which ensure that new players have taken a brief moment to go through what definitely doesn't amount to an encyclopedia of information. Hopefully everyone realises that this will help them acclimatise to Bell, Book & Candle. So instead of the test, the first part of your application process is to PM James with a short (or long if you wish) message about anything within the Introduction and/or Civil Law threads that you found interesting and why. (If you'd prefer the quiz, let me know.)

(4) ~ Lastly you are required to fill out and create your Birth Record and further instructions will of course evolve from there ... welcome and I hope you're going to enjoy it here.
