I have an african grey named Cody who is quite the talker and also a very good begger (evidently). and he is always wanting what ever it is I am eating. well the other day I sit down to have a quick lunch as I was in a hurry and starved so I just fixed one of those frozen panini sandwiches and figured I wouldn't share with the birds that day as it was a small sandwich and I was hungry so I just ignored them and Cody started in saying "I wanna bite" and he said it about 4 times and I kept ignoring him and finally as he was sitting beside his food bowl he looked at me as said "don't you love me" (as plain as any human could have said it) so you better believe I got up out of my chair and gave that boy a good sized bite LOL!!!!

Oh I think these greys can keep up with most kids in the guilt giving department  they are almost to smart at times!! This little one has a very large vocabulary and uses it to her best advantage at all times ;) She has been a real joy to have as a member of the household altho I haven't had her all that long as I just got her last fall. I used to birdy sit her but when her original owners retired this last summer they wanted to start doing some extensive traveling and decided she would be better off living with me and I didn't object one little bit  she is a pure joy to be around and I am so lucky that they decided to let me have her. Here is a picture of my little guilt giver ;)

Question for you.. I can't get my greys I recently got to bath the lady I bought them from never really bothered with them hence the reason I had to buy them and bring them home. Anyhoo I can't even mist them without them getting mad any ideas on bathing if offering water and misting isn't working. I am not sure with as easily stressed as they can get if I should even try to let them go in the shower.
