|The idea of Bansheelien was concocted while in a desert run on the Sega server with Betty Boop, Dark Simon X, Opujhum and myself. Each of us were members of separate teams, although we found ourselves consistently grinding and running with each other rather than our own teammates. Betty Boop and I had been teammates (as well as Woogle Q) just after Beta testing had finished, and Opujhum joined sometime in 2006. After several discussions on the topic, Opujhum went ahead and took his real name, Betty’s, as well as mine, input them into a word scrambler, and thus Bansheelein was born (changed on the schthack server to Bansheelien). Opujhum remained master of the team until the closure of the Sega Server, at which point Striker took over the mantle (Striker and Whippy-Macha were an excellent two man team named Minerva until merging with Banshee).|
Striker remained master, and an excellent one, until late 2009, when he decided it was time to take a backseat and pass the torch on to Betty Boop, everyone’s favourite pso mom. Although Betty made an excellent master, outside issues called on her to pass on the master ship after only a short time to myself, the master of smite, Res.
Throughout the years, we have had many members come and go, most staying with us until they decide that their time in pso has come to an end. We have a very diverse core of players, from old vets, cmode pros, to players new to the game.
The main goal of this team, from its inception right to this very day, has and will always be the fun we have together. There is a special bond between Banshee team mates. Banshee is not about who has the most rares, who has the best equips, the most level 200’s, nor who has committed the maps to memory, it’s about having fun playing a game, and enjoying the company of the people you are playing said game with.
