As you may have noticed, I've been making some minor changes to Azure Echo. Listed are some of the changes we are making:
~Forum font changed to Trebuchet MS ~Default emoticons replaced with uberawesome ones ~Prefixes on upper class members, moderators, and administrators (+, ^, *, ~) ~More member groups (copyright enforcement, etc) ~More member levels (between newb and uberpwnzor).

Why not take the current skin and reverse the white and black, while leaving the blue? That should be pretty easy and still be 1337...
When are the forums going to be changed to ae's new topic? When you change the the host?
If i just inverted the colors for the white and black, the gradients would be inverted and it wouldn't look right...
The forums have been changed to the "FIght the Power of Payment" theme. Do you think i should remove some forums that aren't free/opensource related?
And ah, i haven't told everyone about the new host yet. I'm planning on changing the host (i'm not giving the URL yet for security reasons). I will have to transfer every single topic, post, member, and setting by hand; this will take... time.
If someone would be ever so generous as to donate the 46 US dollars that is required for Invisionfree to format the forum data and transfer it to the new host, it would take only a day or two and i would be very happy. Please PM me if you would like to do this for us.

$46?! are you insane?
I'm just kidding. but $10 from each of the active members could be good for your forum.
+1, I think most people around here may be able to scrounge up 10 bucks... when invisionfree formats it do they put it into vbullitin or php or something? Or just leave it as is?

they leave it as is, just transfer the data to the new host. I think there may be a conflict because this host is Invision Power Board 1.3, yet the new one is IPB 2.1. there's a conversion process which i'm not sure if i can do on my own, and i'm not sure if it costs extra to have them do it. :\

Well, you get on that, and you could find $10 headed your way. which, incidentally, would leave your hands, right away.

yeah... i don't even think that it's possible now to go from 1.3 to 2.1 with the data, even if i did pay. And reposting every single post would take way too long. I think it's fine to have everyone host their files elsewhere and i think we've got unlimited bandwidth with Invisionfree. 2.1 is a little better, but 1.3 seems good enough for me.

True miamoto, and thanks. That emote is one i've been working on since before I was a forum-goer. That's actually the sprite of the main character in the game i'm working on, but don't expect a release date soon, it's still on the drawing board, only a few concepts have been tested with actual programming, due to my lack of energy, and the fact that the game breaks soooo many copyright laws, and would probably put me on Microsoft's top ten list, just above hippies, but below Sony.

Sad thing is, it's true. If you absolutely want to learn about my game PM me. I'm going to be working with a friend on the game over the next year (hopefully).
