The Curtain Lifts:Isabel and Matthew. Everyone knows that they’re good friends, but if you look a bit closer, you can see how attracted they are to each other…
Now, they’ve been together in secret for a few months. It’s getting serious, although Isabel isn’t really sure if she’s really in love with the man. Matthew himself is a big flirt, even if he wouldn’t go any further than that. Still, because of things that went on with his cousin, Matthew is a bit worried that Isabel won’t stay faithful to her.
Now, Sara is an empath, but still can’t control those powers of her. So when she goes and sees two of her professors talking and then suddenly feels how passionate they are towards each other, she doesn’t know what to think. Cue one Professor Clarke, who happens to spot the worried girl racing away down a corridor to escape those intense emotions. Sara trusts all of her teachers, just like everyone is supposed to, so when Marcus asks her what’s troubling her, she spills the beans. And Marcus knows exactly how to exploit the situation.
As a master flirt and notorious womanizer, Marcus deliberately starts flirting more and more with Isabel. Isabel is flattered by the attention, but Matthew becomes much more jealous than he originally thought he would be. Is Isabel really not that bothered about their relationship?
With a few well-placed words here and there, Matthew soon believes that Isabel is cheating on him. There’s much more tension between them, and Sara knows that this is all of her fault. Although she’s only 15, she wants to do something to help, but Marcus is determined to make sure that she keeps her mouth shut.
Because of Marcus’ toying ways, will Isabel and Matthew break up? Or was their relationship never strong enough to last in the first place?
