Description:June is about 5’7, with straight dark brown hair that reaches midway down her back. She usually keeps it together using a metal barrette. Her eyes are a deep hazel. She wears a green short-sleeved shirt with a triangle-shaped piece of leather armor strapped over her heart, normal brown pants, and a pair of worn boots which reach up about a third of the way up her shin. She has a leather armlet which she wears around her left arm, which is what she rests her crossbow on when making precision shots.

Bio:
June is a girl who enjoys adventure and relaxation in its equal parts. She grew up primarily in Saleet, a small town located in central Evara and home to some beautiful scenery and nearby one of Evara’s most prominent lakes. Her father was a prominent merchant in Evara; he would traverse goods from the coast to Neverfall Keep, and made a good living. June, along with her older brother, would occasionally go along with him on his “runs,” and it was this exposure to the rest of Evara that gave June her desire to see the sights of Aurea. Still, she knew she was young and also quite content to stay behind sometimes with her mother and friends in Saleet.

Time passed, and June grew into a fine young woman. Despite her mother’s attempts to refine her into a cultured lady, it was clear that she took more to her father and enjoyed exploring outside of the town. When the time came for war, most of her male friends, her brother included, left to heed the kingdom’s call. Despite her restlessness, she remained in Saleet. One night, however, June quietly left the town with no forewarning and nothing left behind to indicate where she might have been going. She stole a crossbow and satchel of crossbow bolts from one of her father’s protectors before she left, which she’d always wanted to learn how to use.

Stories from travelers seem to indicate that she’s been seen wandering the expanse of Evara as a “hunter.” Accepting missions, searching for treasure, combating monsters, and most importantly, seeking information. It seems that she’s searching for something in particular…but what?

Skills
June’s only means of defending herself is a crossbow that she took on the night she left Saleet. In the time she’s had using it, she has become quite proficient and is capable of shooting and reloading pretty quickly. For more precise shots, she places the front of the crossbow on the armlet on her left arm and uses it to steady herself. Her aim isn’t spectacular, but it’s certainly comparable to most common crossbow soldiers in the Evaran military. What she lacks in accuracy, though, she makes up for in her skill in resetting new bolts and her ability to shoot and reload on the run. She’s pretty agile as well, and is becoming better at dodging and anticipating attacks the more she fights.

June's horse is named Marcel, and has been with her for much of her life. It was on Marcel that June first learned how to ride, and she decided to take him with her when she left home.

Personality
Although normally one would think that being a hunter would lend itself towards more gruff and impersonal attitudes, June remains as friendly as she was in her childhood. She prefers cooperation over traveling alone, though she doesn’t usually spend a long time with anybody. Being the daughter of a merchant, she has very good business sense and is excellent at negotiating and bargaining with people. Her philosophy seems to be to enjoy life, so she only acts completely serious when she absolutely needs to.

While she enjoys the company of others, she doesn’t usually reveal much about her past or what it is she’s looking for. It’s during these times of semi-interrogation that her “business-sense” kicks in, and she acts more maturely. Basically, the kind of person you would be pleased to travel with, though she won’t stick around for too long if she thinks she’s being held back at all.
