A beginners guide to Fanfiction

What is a fanfiction?
A fanfiction is a fictionsl piece of writing that uses someone else's own characters and major storyling(sometimes) and is kinda made into your own.
For Example, one could make a naruto fanfiction where all the girl characters had magical girl powers and what not.

How do I write one?

Like all other writings, it starts with an idea. Whether your fanfictions is a romance/drama story like mote , or an epic adventure, it is all up to you.
HOWEVER!
here are a few things I would consider:

1. If you are writing a romantic fanfiction make sure to make it interesting. No one likes getting to the first kiss in the middle of the first chapter. That kinda kills the fun in my opinion.

2. Make sure you have a plot.
Like most other writings, a plot is kinda necessary in order to make the story work out. try your best to keep the readers wanting to read. and make the storyline interesting.

3. Spell and use grammar correctly.
Nothing ruins a fan fiction like trying to read a story that's hard to understand because of easily avoidable mistakes. Make sure to read over your material before you post it to make sure everything makes sense.

4. Just have fun!
