[name=Intro]Introduction to Chain Farming: [/name]

Chain Farming is the process of going to many patches and planting or harvesting crops at each of them, and then doing it all over again. Although it may sometimes be more expensive than planting in one patch and personally taking care of the crops until they are grown, due to the fact that you need to pay the farmers (with produce) to watch over them in your absence, chain farming gives you much more experience per hour. If you have always wanted to see the world (of Gielinor) and live life on the fly, chain farming is right for you! If you don't, well...you can always do it for the farming experience, too.

[name=Overview]Overview of the Routes[/name]

This guide shows you how to complete two different routes. One route takes you to all of the easily accessible Fruit Tree, Tree, and Allotment patches, while the other route goes to only the Allotment Patches. The guide is like this because Trees and Fruit Trees give you the most experience, so they should not be skipped over, but they take longer to grow. If you don't want to spend about 14 hours doing something besides Farming (and I really suggest you should take at least a small break; spending 10 minutes doing something other than RuneScape or the Farming skill can really make going back to it a lot more fun if you're trying to gain levels fast while still enjoying it), you can decide to do several rounds of the second route while you are waiting. The choice is up to you.

[name=Route]Route #1[/name]

[name=Requirements]Skill and Quest Requirements/Suggestions[/name]
  • Level 12+ Farming: To plant Trees
  • Level 27+ Farming: To plant Fruit Trees
  • Level 12+ Woodcutting: To use the Lumbridge canoe system
  • Completion of Ghost Ahoy quest: To have an Ectophial
  • Completion of Tree Gnome Village and The Grand Tree quests: To teleport using the Spirit Trees
If you have not finished Ghost Ahoy, skip the Allotment Patch near Port Phasmatys. If you have not finished both the Tree Gnome Village and The Grand Tree quests, skip the two Fruit Tree and one Tree patch that involve the Spirit Tree teleportations. If you do not have level 12 Woodcutting, skip over the Lumbridge Bush Patch. If you do not have level 27 Farming, skip all of the Fruit Tree patches or skip over Route #1 entirely. If you do not have at least level 12 Farming either, don’t do Route #1 at all, just do Route #2 until you have a Farming level of at least 12.

[name=Route]The Route:[/name]

Home teleport to Lumbridge, go up to the third floor of the Lumbridge Castle, and make a stop in the bank. Withdraw the following items into your inventory: An Axe (or you can bring 200 gp for every Tree or Fruit Tree patch that you visit), 1 Bush seed, 1 Tree Sapling (Fill a plant pot with dirt from a farming patch or buy a filled plant pot from a farming shop, use a tree seed with the pot, and water the seed), the noted payments necessary for the farmers to watch over your Bush and Tree Patches, and 1 Falador Teleport or an Explorer Ring. Also, if you have any Farming tools that aren't in the Leprechaun storage yet, make sure that you bring those items with you.

user posted image

Follow the red path on the map above to the canoe station on the eastern side of the Lumbridge River and, using your trusty axe, make a canoe and travel to the Champion's Guild. Head to the Bush Patch west of the guild, withdraw your tools and Super Compost from the Leprechaun Storage, and plant your Bush seed. Take the canoe back down to Lumbridge. Follow the blue path west around the outer walls over the castle and make a stop at the Tree Patch. Then make another stop at the Lumbridge Castle bank and withdraw the following items: 6 Allotment seeds, 1 Flower seed, 1 Herb seed, sacks/baskets, 1 Tree Sapling, the payments necessary for the 2 Allotment patches and the 1 Tree patch, and 1 Varrock Teleport.

user posted image

Teleport to Falador and follow the red path on the above map to the Draynor Allotment Patch or teleport to the cabbage patch north-west of Draynor using your Explorer Ring and follow the blue path. After you have planted in the flower, herb, and allotments patches, teleport to Varrock.

user posted image

Once you have teleported to Varrock, follow the red path to the Tree Patch in the Varrock Palace courtyard. After you have planted in the Tree Patch, follow the blue path to the Grand Exchange, where you can buy farming supplies if needed, as well as withdraw the following items from your bank: 6 Allotment seeds, 1 Flower seed, 1 Herb seed, 2 Fruit Tree Saplings, 3 Tree Saplings, 1 Ectophial, 1 Camelot Teleport, and 1 Falador Teleport. Next, go to the spirit tree which is to the North-East of the Grand Exchange and use it to teleport to the Gnome Stronghold.

user posted image

Once you're in the Gnome Stronghold, follow the red path to the Fruit Tree Patch, then follow the blue path to the Tree Patch near the bank. Then follow the yellow path back to the spirit tree and teleport to the Tree Gnome Village.

user posted image

In the Tree Gnome Village, talk with the gnome near the gate to the South-West of the clearing and ask her to take you outside of the maze. When you appear outside of the maze, follow the red path to the Fruit Tree Patch.

user posted image

After planting in the Fruit Tree patch, use your Ectophial to teleport to the Ectofunctus north of Port Phasmatys. Follow the red path to the Allotment patch. You can also restock on basic Farming supplies at the Farming Shop, which is just east of the Farming patches.

user posted image

Then teleport to Falador and go follow the red path to the Tree Patch in the park. Then follow the blue path and plant in the Tree Patch directly south of the Members' Gate.

user posted image

Next, teleport to Camelot and follow the red path south-east to Catherby and make a stop in the Catherby bank. While in the bank, withdraw: 12 Allotment seeds, 2 Flower seeds, 2 Herb seeds, sacks/baskets, 2 Fruit Tree Saplings, 1 Bush seed, the noted payments necessary for those 7 patches, 60gp, and an Ardougne Teleport. Then follow the blue path north to the Allotment Patch, and then follow the yellow path to the Fruit Tree Patch.

user posted image

Then teleport to Ardougne and follow the red path north to the Allotment patch or follow the blue path south-west to the patch. Then go to the docks in the south-east corner of Ardougne (refer to the map below for the precise location) and take the ship for 30 gp to Brimhaven and plant in the Fruit Tree Patch south of the dock in Brimhaven.

user posted image

Take the ship back to Ardougne for another 30gp and follow the red path to the Bush Patch north of the small monastery.

After you have planted in the Bush Patch, you have multiple choices for what you can do next. If you wish to receive the maximum experience per hour, you should take a look at Route #2, and then head to the Grand Exchange if you need more supplies and then begin Route #2 or, if you have the necessary farming supplies, just make your way to the nearest bank and begin Route #2.

If you do not wish to complete Route #2 while waiting for your Fruit Trees and Trees to grow, just do whatever you feel like doing to fill in the time. Remember that your crops grow even if you're logged out!

[name=Route 2]Route #2[/name]

[name=Requirements 2]Skill and Quest Requirements[/name]
  • Level 9 Farming (or level 2): For planting Herbs (or Flowers)
  • Completion of Ghosts Ahoy quest: To use Ectophial and quickly get to the Morytania allotment patch
If you have not finished the Ghosts Ahoy quests, you can skip over the Allotment patch north of Port Phasmatys.
If you do not have at least level 2 Farming, do not attempt Chain Farming. Stay at one Allotment patch, preferably the Catherby Allotment patch, until you reach level 2 Farming. It is still not recommended to Chain Farm until you can plant herbs at level 9 Farming because you will not be receiving as much experience for every coin that you spend, but if you really wish to gain faster Farming experience, no matter the monetary cost, Chain Farming can still work for you.

[name=Path 2]The Route:[/name]

First, go to any bank and withdraw the following items: 24 Allotment seeds, 4 Flower seeds, 4 Herb seeds, 1 Camelot Teleport, 1 Falador Teleport (or a Level 3 Explorer Ring), 1 Ardougne Teleport, 1 Ectophial, the noted payments necessary for those 8 Allotment Patches, and 10k gp. You should also withdraw one extra teleportation runes/tablet to use at the end of the route.

Teleport to Falador and follow the red path or teleport to the cabbage patch using your Explorer Ring and follow the blue path to the Allotment patch there.

user posted image

Teleport to Camelot, and then follow the red path to the Allotment patch north of Catherby. You can also restock on Farming supplies at the Farming Shop in Catherby.

Then teleport to Ardougne and follow the red path or follow the blue path to the Allotment patch.

After you’ve planted in the patches, use your Ectophial to teleport yourself to the Ectofunctus. Refill your Ectophial if necessary, then head West past the Undead Farm until you reach the Allotment Patches.

Once you’ve planted in the patch, you have multiple choices. After using the teleport that you hopefully brought with you, you can decide to do another round of Route #2, or, if you think that your Trees and Fruit Trees are fully grown, you can do a round of Route #1 (scroll down for tips to help you know whether you can do Route #1 again). You can also take a quick RS break while you wait for your crops to grow while you're logged out.

[name=Route 3]Route 3: Tree and Fruit Tree Patches[/name]

[name=Requirements 3]Skill and Quest Requirements[/name]
  • Level 27 Farming: To plant in Fruit Tree and Tree patches
  • Completion of Mourning's End Part II quest: For Lletya Teleportation Crystal
  • Completion of The Grand Tree and Tree Gnome Village quests: For use of Spirit Trees teleportation
If you have not finished Mourning's End Part II, you can skip over the Lletya Fruit Tree Patch. If you have not finished either of/both The Grand Tree and Tree Gnome Village quests, you can skip over the two Fruit Tree Patches and the one Tree Patch that require the system.

[name=Items 3]Items Needed:[/name]

Bank/Inventory

-Seeds
-Plant Pots
-Teleportation Items/Runes/Tablets: 1 Home Teleport, 1 Falador, 1 Varrock, 1 Camelot, (Optional) 1 Ardougne, 1 Lletya Teleportation Crystal
-Woodcutting Axe, or 200gp per grown Tree/Fruit Tree patch
-Farmer payments for: 5 Tree Patches, 5 Fruit Tree Patches

Keep the following items in Leprechaun Storage:

-Super Compost
-Rake
-Spade (not needed if paying farmers to cut down your trees)
-Watering Can
-Gardening Trowel

Seeds needed for each trip:

-5 Tree Seeds
-5 Fruit Tree Seeds

[name=Path 3]The Route:[/name]

Home teleport to Lumbridge, then go up to the third floor of the Lumbridge Castle and make a stop in the bank. Withdraw the following items into your inventory: An Axe (or have 200gp for every grown patch that you go to), 3 Tree Sapling, the payments for those patches, and 1 Falador teleport. If you're missing some of the items that should be in your Leprechaun Storage, make sure to bring those items with you.

Pic.

Follow the red path on the map above to the Tree patch on the west side of Lumbridge Castle. Check the health of your tree there (if there is one), have it chopped down or chop it down yourself, and then plant your Tree sapling in the patch. Then teleport to Falador.

Pic.

Once you've teleported to the Falador square, head east into the garden and plant in the Tree patch there. Then head out of the north Falador gate and head up to the Members' Gate into Taverly. Once you've entered Taverly, immediately head south to the Tree patch. Then teleport to Varrock.

Pic.

Once in Varrock, head north into the castle courtyard. On the east side of the courtyard is a Tree patch; plant in it. Then head to the Grand Exchange. At the Grand Exchange, you can buy more Farming supplies, and you should also withdraw the following items from your bank: 3 Fruit Tree saplings, 1 Tree sapling, the farmer payments for those patches, and 1 Camelot teleport. Then head north-east of the Grand Exchange to the spirit tree, and teleport to the Gnome Stronghold. NOTE: If you can't use the spirit tree teleportation, just teleport to Camelot right away.

Pic.

In the Gnome Stronghold, head east to the Fruit Tree patch. Then head south-west to the Tree patch. Then head north-east back to the spirit tree and teleport to the Tree Gnome Village.

Pic.

In the Tree Gnome Village, head to the south-west corner of the clearing and squeeze through the gap in the fence. Talk with the gnome outside and ask her to take you out of the maze. Then head south-west to the Fruit Tree patch, plant in it, and teleport to Camelot.

Pic.

Once you've teleported in front of Camelot, follow the road south-east to Catherby, then head east all the way to White Wolf Mountain. Plant in the Fruit Tree patch there. Then head back east to the Catherby bank and withdraw 2 Fruit Tree saplings, a Lletya Teleportation Crystal (if you have not finished the Mourning's End Part II quest, only withdraw 1 Fruit Tree sapling and don't withdraw the crystal, as you don't have it!)and the payments for those patches. From here, you have two different methods of teleportation. You can also withdraw the runes/tablet for an Ardougne teleport, teleport to Ardougne, head south-east to the docks and take the boat to Brimhaven for 30gp (make sure you have another 30gp with you to get back if you need to), then head south-east to the Fruit Tree patch. You can also withdraw a charged Amulet of Glory, teleport to Karamja, and then run east until you enter Brimhaven. Then head north-north-west to the Fruit Tree patch. If you have a grown Spirit Tree patch in Brimhaven, you should go to this Fruit Tree patch while you are currently in the Varrock area or the either of the two Gnome areas.

Pic.

After you have planted in the Fruit Tree patch in Brimhaven, teleport to Lletya using your teleportation crystal if you have one. If you do not have the crystal (a reward from the Mourning's End Part II quest), just home teleport to Lumbridge, and look below for the options that you have after doing this route.

Pic.

One in Lletya, just head south-east to the Fruit Tree patch. After you have planted in the patch, you have a couple of options for what you do next. All Fruit Trees take about 14.6 hours to grow, so you have a lot of time to fill in. You can go and complete Route #2 (the Allotment/Flower/Herb route) many times, or you can just do whatever else you want to do. If you have a medium to low Farming level, I highly recommend that you complete Route #2 because the experience that you get will be very helpful. However, once you start getting extremely high levels and the levels can be separated by hundreds of thousands of experience, to avoid "burning out" you should just take a break from Farming every now and then. But then again, it's just a matter of preference.

[name=Route 4]Route #4: Tree Patches[/name]

[name=Requirements 4]Skill and Quest Requirements[/name]
  • Level 15 Farming: To plant in Tree Patches
  • Completion of The Grand Tree: For the limited use of Spirit Tree teleportation
If you have not finished The Grand Tree quest, skip over the Tree patch in the Tree Gnome Stronghold.

[name=Items 4]Items Needed:[/name]

Bank/Inventory

-Seeds
-Plant Pots
-Teleportation Runes/Tablets: 1 Falador, 1 Varrock
-Woodcutting Axe or 200gp per Tree Patch

In Leprechaun Storage:

-Super Compost (recommended) or Compost
-Rake
-Spade
-Secateurs, optional, for getting branches from your Trees
-Watering Can
-Gardening Trowel

Seeds needed for each trip:

-5 Tree seeds

[name=Path 4]The Route[/name]

Home teleport to Lumbridge, then go up to the third floor of the Lumbridge Castle and make a stop in the bank. Withdraw the following items into your inventory: An Axe (or have 200gp for every grown patch that you go to), 5 Tree Saplings, the payments for your Tree patches, 1 Varrock teleport, and 1 Falador teleport. If you're missing some of the items in Leprechaun Storage, make sure to bring those items with you to store them in the Lumbridge Tree patch Leprechaun.

Pic.

Follow the red path on the map above to the Tree patch on the west side of Lumbridge Castle. Check the health of your tree there (if there is one), have it chopped down or chop it down yourself, and then plant your Tree sapling in the patch. Then teleport to Falador

Pic.

When you have arrived in Falador head west to the Falador park, and plant in the Tree patch there. Then head east out of Falador, then follow the western path to the Members' Gate. Head south and plant in the Tree patch there. Then break your Varrock teleport.

Pic.

Once in the Varrock square, head north into the Varrock castle courtyard, then go north-west and plant in the Tree patch there. Then head west out of the Varrock courtyard and into the Grand Exchange. If you wish to buy any new seeds or supplies, probably for your next route, then do so here. Once you're done, head north-east to the spirit tree. Use the spirit tree to teleport to the Gnome Stronghold.

Pic.

Then head south-west to the Tree patch there and plant in it. Now, all you need to do is wait for a couple of hours until your trees have grown! Depending on your level (click here for the recommended routes at each level), you can do some rounds of Route #2 until your trees have grown, or you can take a break from Farming and do something else entirely; it's a matter of preference.

[name=Special]Special Patches[/name]

While there are many patches that fit into the conventional categories, like Tree patches and Flower patches and Allotment patches, there are also many patches that do not fit with any of the others, like a Mushroom patch and a Cactus patch. Many of these are very good for experience when included in a Chain Farming route, but some also have a special use of their own. In this section of the guide, I have listed every special Farming patch, along with all the other information that you could need.

Spirit Tree
Location: South-east Etceteria, below the Etceterian Castle.
Map: Needed.
Patch Requirements: Besides level 83 Farming for planting spirit trees, you need to have completed The Fremmenik Trials before you can take the boat to Miscellania/Etceteria. If you wish to try to use the fairy ring code CIP to get there before completing the Fremmenik Trials, you can try it, but there is no proof that it will or will not work.
How to Get There: There are two possible ways to get here. The quickest and easiest way is, if you have unlocked the use of the Fairy Rings by getting part of the way through A Fairy Tale Part II, to go to the nearest Fairy Ring and go to coordinates CIP. The longer way is to arrive in the Fremmenik Harbor and take the eastern boat by either: using an Enchanted Lyre and going and going north-north-west to the harbor, or Home Teleporting using the Lunar Magic spell book, taking the boat back to the Fremmenik harbor. From the boat in Miscellania, go north, then east over the bridge, then head south-east past the bush patch to the Spirit Tree patch south of the castle.
Nearest Bank: The nearest bank is on the other side of the castle, up north.
Farmer Payment: 5 Monkey Nuts, 1 Monkey Bar, and 1 Ground Suqah Tooth. The Monkey Nuts and the Monkey Bar can both be bought from the food stall on Ape Atoll. Getting the ground Suqah Tooth requires at least starting Lunar Diplomacy so that you can kill the Suqahs and get their occasional drop of their tooth.
Where to Get the Seeds: Getting Spirit Seeds are very rare. They can only be found as a rare item found in Birds' Nests, which can randomly appear behind you while you are woodcutting. They can also be obtained from the gardener in Falador park if you bring the hide or the claws of the Giant Mole, which can be obtained from the Grand Exchange for roughly 5000gp or by killing the Giant Mole in his lair beneath Falador.
Special Notes: Besides giving a whopping combined planting and checking health Farming experience of 19501.5, if you have completed both the Gnome Stronghold and Tree Gnome Village quests, you can teleport from and to your spirit tree as part of the entire network of spirit trees. Also keep in mind that finding Spirit Seeds is very rare.
How to Include This in Your Route: The only reason that you would need to include this in your route, after you have planted in it and the spirit tree has grown, is for easy access to the Etceteria bush patch. Therefore, it is recommended to go here while you are in the Gnome area, or the Varrock/Grand Exchange area, so that you have access to the spirit trees' teleportation matrix.

Spirit Tree
Location: North-east of Brimhaven
Map: Needed
Patch Requirements: None are required besides 83 Farming, but it is useful to have completed Plague City so that you can use an Ardougne teleportation tab/runes.
How to Get There: The easiest way to get here is to teleport to Ardougne (tablets don't need 51 magic, but they do require that you have completed Plague City), walk to the docks south-east of the southern bank, then take the boat for 30gp (bring another 30gp if you plan to return using the boat) to Brimhaven. Head south-east along the coastline until you see the Farming patch. You can also walk to Port Sarim from wherever you are at the moment, take the boat to Karamja, then run west until you pass through the Brimhaven gate, and then head north-west until you see the patch. Another way is to use the Amulet of Glory Karamja teleport and then run east through the Brimhaven gate then north-west to the Farming patch.
Nearest Bank: South-east Ardougne bank north of the Ardougne docks.
Farmer Payment: 5 Monkey Nuts, 1 Monkey Bar, and 1 Ground Suqah Tooth. The Monkey Nuts and the Monkey Bar can both be found on the Ape Atoll Agility Course, which requires completion of Monkey Madness, a ninja greegree, and 52 Agility. Getting the ground Suqah Tooth requires at least starting Lunar Diplomacy so that you can kill the Suqahs and get their occasional drop of their tooth.
How to Include This in Your Route: The reason why you would plant in this particular patch is that if you can use the spirit tree teleportation matrix, you have instant access to the Fruit Tree patch just east of here. Therefore, it is recommended to go to this patch while you are in the Varrock area or either of the Gnome cities so that you have close access to the other spirit trees.

Spirit Tree
Location: West of Draynor Village, South of the Cabbage Patch, North-East of Port Sarim
Map: Needed
Patch Requirements: None are required, besides level 83 Farming.
How to Get There: If you have completely finished the Lumbridge/Draynor Achievement Diary (Beginner, Easy, and Moderate levels), you can use the Cabbage Teleport option on your Level 3 Explorer Ring to teleport to the cabbage patch just north of this patch. You can also use an Amulet of Glory teleport to Draynor, and then head east through the gate and then immediately south to this patch. If you don't have access to either of these methods or teleportation, you'll just have to walk.
Nearest Bank: Draynor Village bank to the south-east or Falador bank to the north/north-west.
How to Include This in Your Route: There are two patches that are close to this patch: the Draynor/Falador Allotment patch and the Rimmington bush patch. Teleporting to this patch using the spirit trees in Varrock or either of the Gnome areas is the best time to go to this patch. However, this is not the best patch in which to plant your spirit tree because there are better ways of teleportation to those two patches. If you have the Explore Ring Level 3, you can use the Cabbage Patch teleport to appear closer to the Draynor/Falador Allotment patch than you would be if you teleported to the Draynor spirit tree patch. If you have your house in Rimmington, you can house teleport and you will be a lot closer to the Rimmington Bush patch than you would if you teleported to the Draynor spirit tree patch.

Calquat Tree
Location: North of Tai Bwo Wannai, just east of the anvil.
Map: Needed.
Patch Requirements: No requirements besides level 72 Farming.
How to Get There: The first way is to use the fairy ring to teleport to coordinates ???, which will take you south-west of Tai Bwo Wannai. Head north-east until you reach the city, then head north until you see the patch next to the building with an anvil in it, south-east of the general store. The second way is to teleport to Ardougne, head south-east to the docks (with 30gp or 60gp, depending on whether or not you wish to sail back to Ardougne) and take the boat to Brimhaven. Then go south until you see a general store like the one shown in the map, then head south-east to the patch. If you haven't completed the Plague City quest or have access to the Fairy Rings, you can teleport to Karamja using an Amulet of Glory (or take the boat from Port Sarim; the Cabbage Port is a good way to get close to Port Sarim quickly), then head west until you enter Brimhaven, then head south-west until you see a beach, then head south-east until you see the general store shown in the map, then head south-east more until you see the patch.
Nearest Bank: There are none nearby, so make sure to bank before you enter Brimhaven/Karamja.
Farmer Payments: 8 Poison Ivy Berries.
Special Notes: Calquat Trees also give a large amount of Farming experience: 12,096 experience! If you have enough time to go to this out-of-the-way patch, you really should.
How to Include This in Your Route: If you have completed the Plague City quest, you should just teleport to Ardougne and then take the boat to Brimhaven, so you can technically go to this patch anytime. However, if you are going to the Brimhaven Fruit Tree patch, then it would make sense to go to the Calqut Tree patch while you're in Brimhaven, too. If you are using the Amulet of Glory teleport, if you can just go to it anytime because you're carrying around your method of teleportation with you.

Cactus
Location: In Al-Kharid, north of the General Store and east of the Silk Stall.
Map: Needed.
Patch Requirements: There are no requirements, besides level 55 Farming.
How to Get There: The fastest way is to teleport to Al-Kharid using the Amulet of Glory, and then head north out of the palace and then north-east to the patch. You can also teleport to the Duel Arena using your Duelling Ring, head out of the complex, and then head south-west until you see the patch. A duelling ring is very cheap, don't worry about the cost if you have a tight budget.
Nearest Bank: West of the Al-Kharid Palace, south-west of the patch.
Farmer Payments: None, unfortunately, so using supercompost is vital! Sometimes it will die, but hey, that's just the circle of life.
Where to Get the Seed: The easiest place to get a seed is to buy it from the Grand Exchange; it's extremely cheap (less than 250gp).
Special Notes: You can get cactus thorns...
How to Include This in Your Route:

Jade Vine
Location: In Ardougne, in the garden in the mansion just west of the Ardougne market.
Map: Needed.
Patch Requirements: Completion of the Back to my Roots quest, and level 53 Farming.
How to Get There: The fastest way is to teleport to Ardougne (using either the tablet or the runes require completion of the Plague City quest), then head west of the market into the garden of the mansion with a Quest Start marker.
Nearest Bank: There are two bank nearby, about equal distances from the patch. One is north-west of the patch and the other is south-east of the patch.
Farmer Payments: 10 Wildblood Hops.
Where to Get the Seed: The easiest place to get a seed is to buy it from the Grand Exchange.
Special Notes: You can prune your Jade Vine with secateurs, similar to getting branches from one of your Trees, which gives 30 Farming experience per branch. Also, if you let the vine grow (no pun intended) wild, you can kill it to get 2500 Slayer experience.
How to Include This in Your Route: Since this is in Ardougne, obviously you should go to this patch while you are in Ardougne. Nearby patches are the Ardougne Bush Patch, the Ardougne Allotment Patch, and the ship to Brimhaven (which has the Brimhaven Fruit Tree Patch and Spirit Tree Patch) is nearby. If you are going to either of these patches, go to this patch at the same time. If you aren't going to any of these patches, just bring an Ardougne teleport with you and use it whenever you're ready.

Belladonna
Location: In the Draynor Mansion grounds, to the west of the actual mansion and next to the fence. It is south of the Evil Turnip patch; don't get them confused.
Map: Needed.
Patch Requirements: You need to wear leather gloves when you're planting here; Belladonna is poisonous! You also need level 63 Farming.
How to Get There: There are two good ways to get to the manor. The first way, and the quickest way, is to teleport to Draynor using an Amulet of Glory, then head north until you see the manor, then head to the patch. The second way is to teleport to the Cabbage Patch using the Level 3 Explorer Ring, then head south out of the patch and then follow the path east until you see the manor, then head to the patch. You can also just walk to here from Lumbridge, but that is not at all recommended.
Nearest Bank: Draynor Village bank.
Farmer Payments: None, so using super compost is vital!
Where to Get the Seed: The best place is to buy it from the Grand Exchange.
Special Notes: Used in herblore...
How to Include This in Your Route: To mesh this in with a route that includes Allotments, the best place to include this patch is when you are going to the Draynor/Falador Allotment patch because it is so close by. If you are doing a route with only Trees (and/or Fruit Trees) (and going to this patch, or any special patch besides the Calquat Tree patch and on occasion the Spirit Tree patches, is not recommended), when you're going to the Lumbridge Tree Patch, you can either teleport to Draynor using your Amulet of Glory (recommended) or walk all the way to the manor (not recommended).

Evil Turnip
Location: In the Draynor Manor grounds, west of the manor, north of the Belladonna patch. It is not marked on the minimap with a patch icon.
Map: Needed.
Patch Requirements: None, besides level 42 Farming.
Farmer Payments: None, so using supercompost is vital!
Where to Get the Seed: The best place is to buy it from the Grand Exchange.
Special Notes: Used in summoning...

Bittercap Mushrooms
Location: South-west of Canifis, north of the gate to the Mort Myre swamp.
Map: Needed.
Patch Requirements: None, besides level 53 Farming.
How to Get There: The two fastest ways are to teleport to Fairy Ring coordinates CKS or to use the Ancient Magicks Kharyll teleport to arrive in Canifis. You can also use your ectophial (needs completion of the Ghosts Ahoy quest), then follow the route on the map above to the patch. Finally, if you have no other option, you can walk all the way from Varrock to the patch, but by that time it might not be worth it.
Nearest Bank: On the east side of Canifis, which is to the north-east of the patch.
Farmer Payments: None, so using supercompost is vital!
Where to Get the Seed: Best place is to buy it on the Grand Exchange.
Special Notes: None.

How to Include This in Your Route: Seeing as there is no other patch nearby (although there is the Morytania Allotment patch near the Ectofunctus), if you go here you'll be going here only so that you can plant in the Bittercap Mushrooms patch, so go here whenever you feel like it. However, if the only teleportation method that you have access to is the Ectophial, you should probably go to this patch right after you go to the Morytania Allotment patch.

[name=Tips]Tips and Tricks:[/name]

• To help you know when your Fruit Trees and Trees are ready to have their health checked, you can do one of the following two things: You can simply remember when you planted your first Fruit Tree (which generally take longer to grow than normal Trees) and use the "Time to Grow" tables on Sal's Farming Guide, or you can bind an Amulet of Farming (bought from any Farming Shop) to your first Fruit Tree Patch and check it every now and then.

Lol it's really long, I know. tongue.gif Pleast post any comments or suggestions; I'm hoping to get this one onto a website, like Sal's Realm! biggrin.gif
