> Welcome, welcome to City 17, you have chosen or been chosen to.... Uh... What.... No! Wrong introdutory text....
> Welcome. Welcome to AL. I see that you have been accepted. Congratulations. Since we only accept the best of the best of the best, it means you are surely it yes1.gif

> Do please take a few minutes to read this.
> If you are new to clanning communities, please read the white Section.
> If you are new to modified IF forums, please read the yellow Section.
> If you are already acquainted with both aspects, please read the gray Section.

> You have chosen the best clan to start (and hopefully stay with us until the end of Gielinor) your clanning activity. We are a nice, welcoming clan, with various events, ranging from plain monster hunting events to King Black Dragon slaying, from simple races to clan-spanning skilling contests, from small PKRI (Player-Kill Run-In) interclan warring practices to fighting one of our allies or even a worthy adversary.

> You have been set as Trial Member. It means you are free to evaluate us so you can decide wether to stay for good or move on (although you won't find any clan better than ours smile.gif ). But you can still participate on clan wars, events, and contests. You have the same forum access any other member has and you can use the shoutbox at free will.

> Please notice that you should read Warring 101, so you know and get used to expressions, tactics and strategies we use on our clan wars. This will come in handy for the next step.

> When you reach 25 posts and have attended 2 events, you are eligible to become a Full Member. From now on, you are bound to AL, and if you leave, it will be counted as an AWOL.

> Please make sure you read AL's Rules and Forum Rules so you keep your warning level to a minimum.

> There's also a rule we'd like to enfore when possible: DO NOT REPORT FELLOW CLAN MEMBERS ON THE CLAN CHAT.

> Welcome to AL's forums. This is a standard InvisionFree forum heavily modified so we can interact with each other, as well the clan as a whole.

> The first time you loaded the forums, you might have noticed it's long loading time. This is due to our mods, and we are always looking for a way to shorten that loading time. However, be assured that the initial loading time is a one-time load. The next time you access AL's forums, your computer will already have the information needed to quicken the forum loading, so no configuration on your side will be needed.

> Since all our mods (Shoutbox, Memberlegend, etc) run on Javascript, you will need to allow Javascripts to be run from our forum. For safety reasons we suggest you only allow scripts from:
  • z9.invisionfree.com
  • i1.ifrm.com
  • i1.ifrm.com
> These are the host of our mods. Any other javascript that may attempt to run on your computer will probably be googleadservices, and you can choose to block it or not.

> If you want a quick overview on which is the correct forum for posting what, you can check on AL's Rules.

> There are some final considerations about what you read.

> Just be yourself. Be nice to other members, report posts you might think that break our rules, follow our rules and try and improve the clan. Either with your skills (levelling up, increasing our combat average) or your diplomacy skills (talking to new members, making new friends).

> So... Welcome to City 17. It's safer here.
