|Posted by: animal magik Jan 24 2009, 06:27 AM|
| Ok guys, the clan has voted, so the next event will be a minigame.
This means that Tomilson and Red Ring, you guys will be scheduling at least 1 minigame each for a time coming up soon. (Remember, weekends are good)
Have fun scheduling an event, I hope you can come up with a good one and it turns out successful =D

| Magik, don't rush things...
Good idea scheduling the KBD event. That way we (would) have enough time to keep the poll open for the predetermined 24h.
Since you already closed the poll... It doesn't matter, but have that in mind next time. Keep a poll open for 24h so every time zone has a chance to vote.
Secondly, try to keep the organization:
Official events: We post, ppl reply/vote, lamb/we mods.
Members events: Ppl post, ppl reply, lamb/we mods
Event Coordinators Forum: We post, we rply, lamb mods.
On the event coordinators forum, post only what's directed to the EC team. And don't post a "Ok. The next event was voted xxx. Let's start working on it". Use the same poll's post that I/You open to close it and annouce the decision.
And, yeah... Good luck scheduling the event. How about castle wars or stealing creation?

|I suggest Stealing Creation for our p2p, and maybe F.O.G. for f2p'ers?|

| We won't have two events running at the same time.
Let me rephrase it (that one sounded too harsh)
We can't have two events running at the same time. What if I wanted to go to sc, AND to fog? if we already have a fog event, the nextone would be only in about two months...
Anyways... it's up to tom and red ring to schedule it

|Lol I know that, just giving ideas.|

| i am thinking castle wars. it would be best because, as its my first event, i want to see the turnout, if its not that much, o well, its castle wars. but if we don't have enough for ba, there goes the event.
i want to try cavern keeping. its where we pretty much hold down the tunnels, kill anyone bad, and keep a clear path for flag runners.
im thinking maybe 9pm clan time on Saturday next week. im still not good at time conversion but, as its a weekend, people are more active, and its not really late or too early in the day.
havent been on rs to get ahold of tom yet, but this seems like a fun idea to me.
any input is helpful!

yeah red thats what i was thinking to was castle wars, because its somthing we never really do.

|Agreed, but make it a little earlier. Although it's weekend I don't plan to play minigames at 2300 hours (my timezone )|

maybe 7:30 then?
i dont want to go too much earlier because of dinner times.
btw is clan time eastern?
EDIT: lol whatever it is its an hour ahead of central (my time) im really horrible with timezones....

|soo... agreed then? ill give you guys a day, then may i post?|
|Posted by: K Arthur90 Jan 25 2009, 12:25 PM|
| Yep. 7:30 it's good.
The official clan time is EST, but bear in mind we have ppl from australia, brazil and buenos aires. But don't worry, 7:30 EST is a good time for all the tz's. Post it already.

|This might be a little late to add, but choosing Castle Wars and any of the older minigames is a GREAT idea. The variety of events so far that you have all planned all have a great variety that will appeal to everyone, but choosing some of the older stuff that Runescape really isn't pushing for anyone to do anymore is a great test to see if we can get people to attend events.|
