I think some of your calculations are messed up somehow.. How is Kod's overally score higher then sisco's fishing exp gained? I don't see any other Kod in the top 3 for any other skill, so it doesn't add up. unsure.gif Good competition though.

It's average, not overall.

I see that Lit, but it still doesn't make sense..

If it's average, and the average overall for Kod was higher then Sisco's exp, then who in Kod had more exp then Sisco to even it out? Also, was Sisco the only person in Kod who even counted?

Wait I see how it was added up.. but means one person in Kod supposedly outdid a good chunk of LTH members... Thought this was a clan event, not a solo event.

Oh well, LTH won Mining and woodcutting and took 2nd and 3rd in Fishing. We'll take that.

> Because, Star, some people on all clans signed-up but didn't actually skilled at all (there were a minimum of 7~9 people on each clan with less than 10k experience won...), and that's somewhat a punishment to who signed-up but didn't skilled at all.
> However, that's also why people with less than 5k experience didn't reduced anything from the equivalent points, since people who earned from 0 to 5k wasn't training for that particular skill, so, no harm done. Like me, for example, I got exactly 1 xp point on woodcutting (Miscellania trees) because I focused on mining only, so I didn't decreased the equivalent points at all.
> That can be called a half-Windsor mean, because I didn't follow the exact formulae.

> This was the only way I found not to reduce anyone's participation on the contest, seeing that other kinds of averages and statistics (namely: geometric, harmonic and weighted means, Mode and Median), although, if I had more patience (which I might have, since my friend, who happens to be a mathematitian, will write me a script to calculate it) I could have used a real truncated mean (winsorized), which takes a little more time to setup, but I'll leave that for the next contest.

> PS.: I actually know how to do all those, but the Windsor mean tongue.gif

In other words, those who didn't participate at all don't hurt the clan, but those who did participate just in the slightest hurt the clan alot... In other words, Sisco carried KoD to win by himself, which fails, no offense.

Lol, just realised you got a 10th of the exp needed for 99 mining in 2 weeks. laugh.gif
