|Ancient Legion > Council of Members > Combat Training Days|

| This idea basically came to mind after reading Dager's post to raise our clan reqs to 90+. Some members, me included, don't meet those reqs and I thought some motivation would help a lot. What about, in addition to the Contests we may have, we had a day in the week when we train all together combat for a few hours? We could coordinate this, setting group leaders and such so we all don't get messy in one spot all at once. We could also divide the groups according to which skill we want to train or we could even set a "skill of the week", and everybody would train that skill (pretty much like contests). This last one could really come in handy for magic, so we know we're getting better with binds if everybody's training.
These days should primarily be Fridays imo, but Saturdays after/before wars are good to. This will be rescheduled accordingly if the idea is liked, of course.
To add some more motivation, we could do something pretty much like in contests, tracking member's exp gain and maybe reward the most dedicated at the end of the month with nice looking userbars and such.
Post your thought on this, and please divide your opinion on: main idea, date/time and reward (the 3 paragraphs, actually).

| That's a good idea. Perhaps Friday afternoons, or we have two sessions? Say 7:00 OCT and 11:00 OCT so that we can get more in?
Freeplay and members would have to have different training spots, though, because spiders with a rune scimmy isn't gonna cut it for a lot of people.

|yea this hasnt been talked about for a while but we really need this if we wanna do well in wars... we can still be 75+ and have all of us be like 90+ for example... that would make us look really good|

| 90+... no thx.
that means i go : (
|Posted by: Kerkennah Jun 29 2009, 05:06 AM|
Maybe we wouldn't make the reqs that high, maybe we could encourage everyone to be that combat.
|Posted by: Golden Jun 29 2009, 07:14 AM|
|@ Dylan: He was saying that it would be nice for everyone to get up to 90 combat, not that you'd be kicked if you didn't get it.|

|The idea is that all our current members stay. Also I don't have the powers to raise the reqs nor was I thinking on raising them that high. That's what Dager suggested, I would go for something around 80 first.|
|Posted by: tubu1982 Jun 29 2009, 10:25 AM|
|but if we raise requirement to 80, we look bad if all our members are like 85. like kevin says a clan with a lv of 75+ but all members are 85+ would look good in wars.|
