Title: Not much on warring anymore...

Well I realized that in order to enjoy warring, you need a full warring clan (imo). So instead of leaving AL I will mainly focus on skilling from now on. I wont stop attending wars and war practices.

Question: Can I join a skilling community (without being added to a ML)?

It's true. Lit, you have to make sure with the skilling community that you can't be in two places at once.

Al seems more of a skilling clan to me =/

seems like both to me but more of skilling and when we war it turns out pretty bad with the pulls :/

It's true, not many of us take warring very seriously

ive only been too 1 war, so skilling and a community is what keeps me here.

Personally, I don't believe there to be any difference between community clans and skilling clans apart from requirements. If you wish to join a pk team, a certain minigame team or something that AL does not offer, that would be fine, but a skilling clan would be sorta multiclanning.

You can't improve at something if you don't do it.

AL is truly not a warring clan. We perhaps used to be, but our pulls are now terrible. I think that we could rejuvenate our warring community, but it would take some effort.

We have always prided ourselves on our community.

As warlord, I agree that we are no longet a warring clan. It sucks to say it, but it's true. Sometimes I think of multi-clanning since im a huge war fan, but I don't want to leave AL.

We used to be warring kings but now we're we not very good at all we need to teach our new members how to war so im going to purpose an idea we we have one mandorty war practice each week that way the new members can learn :)

Dylan - September 28, 2009 12:54 AM (GMT)
id come to more wars, i just cant because of the time difference.

tubu1982 - September 28, 2009 02:16 AM (GMT)
I've signed up for this clan because I wanted a community. However, I really do enjoy warring and i agree that we do not pull a lot, but its hard to model my schedule for warring when with some of our wars being matched opps, i don't really participate too much. I also want to know what a "good pull" would be, when we have at most 30 active members. I personally would be excited to get 10 at a war, with school and different time zones.

A few months ago, AL had some decent pulls, and at one point was pulling near 30, maybe a bit more for some wars. Then, no offence, no wars were made since it was up to the leaders to make wars and leaders only.

No wars were made for nearly a month, and that made the previous Warlord, Kid Damon furious since he was warlord and could not war.

Enough on that subject though..

The best way to learn how to war is by warring itself. You can't really practice warring because only way to do that is by interclanning (waste of supplies normally, and everyone knows everyone's weakness) or by warring massing clans in W141 or W3 (and they have no skill normally, so kinda pointless).

I suggest you find other clans to war because if you war the same clans over and over again, they will find your weakness and you will find their weakness, and therefore make the wars a bit boring.

I know AL is not a warring clan, though it had potential earlier in the year. You raised your requirements for wars, so why do you have requirements if you don't war?
