Title: How to train?

Animal - July 29, 2009 04:06 AM (GMT)
I dunno what to do for 99 def. :s
I wanna do armoured zombies, because it'll be like twice as fast, but I want slayer for the clues and stuff, although the loot from zombies will make up for that. Halp?

Devilofall - July 29, 2009 04:11 AM (GMT)
I'd do slayer. Even if Armored Zombies are faster, you'd be training two skills at once which could be profitable to you down the road (Abyssal Demons, Dark Beasts?)

I'd do Armored Zombies. Slayer is too much cliche. :)

Both ani... Armored get boring after some time, if you switch with slayer you could get some nice exp and more important, more fun ^_^

Imso Hot - July 29, 2009 08:21 AM (GMT)
Youll never get as much money from az's as you would with slayer while getting

i agree... stick with armoured zombies, with ur stats you could eaisly pull 100k+ experience an hour!!!... and if u get bored go do like 1 slayer task and then return to armoured zombies... but az's make u a lot of money too cuz their plank drops are noted!

tubu1982 - July 29, 2009 02:13 PM (GMT)
do you even have to ask me what i put?

However, of course you should do slayer... i have slayed with countless numbers of maxed melee's who say they wish they would have maxed using slayer, because now the only reason for it is to get like 40m str exp...
also like imso said, you make almost 100k a task! that excludes the rare drop from every monster.

Gameguy535 - July 30, 2009 01:07 AM (GMT)
armored zombies you can do slayer another time

Animal - July 30, 2009 09:30 AM (GMT)
I think I'll do armoured zombies for the majority though, because in the future I'll do slayer for att and str.

Starwolf Ftw - July 31, 2009 02:17 AM (GMT)
You should alternate between armored zombies and slayer tasks after each level up. Just doing one task or two then going back to AZ won't really help much with all the travel and such. Or just alternate days. Change is key to keep things fresh.

I have a secret to training Defence... It might not be the fastest, but it can be 100% afked! (only works for def)

Here's what you do...

Step 1. Buy full guthans and a bunch of Super Attack and Strength pots.

Step 2. Go to Gwd near the bandos area. You are not wearing any god items at all down here. Go in the main room, not past the hammer door, in the northwestern corner, just west of the hobgoblins and north of the west goblins. There should be a small area that only 1 thing can get to you at a time. Stand here, and Orks will nonstop attack you as you have no bandos item equipted.

I tried this for the first time today while playing on my DS, and it worked like a charm. I dont know how long it was, but I got 110k experience in Defence while playing gameboy :) (20k short of 90 defence, only reason i teled was cause we were going out for dinner)

Only reason this works only for defence is because there is only 1 style with the guthans warspear that isn't shared experience!

Good luck

Eh, seen that on youtube, doesn't appeal to me.

Well if you want insane exp, Dharoks and Monkey Skeles is the way to go. Keep your hp at like 4, pray melee and the monkeys will attack you mercilessly. You might need to move 1 spot after some time, since it tends to bug.

Salve amulet, Dharoks and pray pots/super restores are a must. :)
