Title: Should this be here?
animal magik - May 31, 2009 04:09 AM (GMT)
Up the top under our banner, I noticed one of the ads is advertising bots. I don't think we should have these, seeing they're against the rules, so would we be able to not have it?
I didn't take any info about it down, sorry. :(
I will if I see it again.

Yeah I guess so.
I saw it again but I don't wanna post the link lol, don't want anyone using it.
Although, you have to pay for the bots, be kinda sad if someone did that.

it would be really sad to see someone pay for a bot lol what a waste of money...

I agree it would be sad if someone buyed them. But Invisionfree ads use words from our forums and try to match them with the ads as best a possible.

I'm not sure but it could be because of the User's search history, so if you've been on Runescape they'll advertise sites associated with that.

> Not quite. For example, my firewall prevents most cookies of being installed on my PC, but Google still manages to show content-related ads.
> What it does is read the page it was put on and display ads related to key-words it found on the page. In this case, "Runescape".
