Title: Seers' Village Achievement Diary
Description: 20 January 2009

Kevinsaurus - January 21, 2009 08:50 PM (GMT)
How far can you see into the future? The seers in their village foresee mountains of flax, adventurers fishing, cooking and cutting wood, and many other challenges in and around Seers' Village. Are you virtuous enough to use the Piety prayer? Gather your axe and knife (and bring your best flax-picking fingers), and go see what’s in store for you.

Explore the area and discover all the things you hadn’t noticed before. From Catherby to the Ranging Guild, and as far north as the coal trucks and Sinclair Mansion, this diary should keep you busy, and remind you why this is one of the most popular areas in the members’ world.

When you’ve satisfied the seers with your knowledge of the area, you’ll be rewarded with some handy bonuses: Geoffrey will give you some of his, maple trees will reveal some of their secrets to make you that little bit wiser, and you’ll discover a new nimbleness in your fingers when using the spinning wheel.

[edit] SummaryWhere to Start Seers’ Village Achievement Diary:

Speak to any seer in the Seers’ Village, Stankers by the coal trucks, or Sir Kay in Camelot.

[edit] In other news... Players can now right-click on previously sent private messages to send another message to the same person. This applies whether split chat is on or off.

The alchemy values of the crystal bow and shield have been reduced. We suggest that you check your ‘items kept on death’ interface before PvPing or entering dangerous areas with combinations of these items, just in case it's not quite what you're expecting if you were to die.

The Slayer ring, combat bracelet and the skills necklace have had their 'delays' removed when operating them.

stingster2 - January 21, 2009 09:42 PM (GMT)
not bad at all :D

Kevinsaurus - January 21, 2009 09:46 PM (GMT)
yea the maple 10% more xp thing isn't bad if only i were membs >.<

K Arthur90 - January 22, 2009 12:03 AM (GMT)
Are you sure about the 120 flax?
I don't remember reading that.
Though I just skimmed through the text.... I'll read it again. :)
Imo, the reward has good and bad side.
Good for fletchers. No more endless hours of flax-picking or money-burning humongous purchases of flax off GE.
Bad for merchanters. Flax and bowstring prices will fall faster than my sister-in-law on the municipal market here in São Paulo.

PS.: Kevin, I was right after all:
QUOTE (Runescape WebSite)

In addition to the easy and medium tasks' reward, when worn:

Significant increase in speed when using the spinning wheel in Seers' Village
Lady of the Lake will offer to enhance Excalibur, boosting its stats and the effect of its special attack
Experience lamp - 10,000 experience in the skill of your choice

I hven't got the 3rd lv headband, though the official rs site doesn't say anything about 120 flax a day. Not that I complain about 120 free flax/24 hours ^_^

starwolf_ftw - January 26, 2009 02:44 PM (GMT)
120 flax a day free... That's 12k of crap RS is giving per player per day. That really adds up, that's why it's not on the official RS site because it's a steal! ;)

Kevinsaurus - January 26, 2009 02:52 PM (GMT)
