amazingly, not this week. Usually from track I get some problems, but not really injuries. More like just being sore and stuff. However, I think my right shoulder isn't all the way in place, but it's been like that for a couple months and I've just kinda dealt with it lol

K Arthur90 - January 22, 2009 10:28 PM (GMT)
Well... Three years ago, I managed to dislocate both my thumbs... Since then I can't put too much strain on them =]

I dislocated the right one fighting against some fountain bullies (don't even ask :))
The left one, I dislocated while giving a go at goalkeeping at soccer.

Kevinsaurus - January 23, 2009 12:19 AM (GMT)

In the fall of this season for tennis, I got tennis elbow again. It was incredibly painful and had to miss 8 weeks of my senior year letting it heal. It's when the tendon in your elbow tears..

K Arthur90 - January 24, 2009 02:17 AM (GMT)
I got one word for that, star.

Ouch.

I heard tendon ripping and tendinitis are the worst pain after giving birth.

It was for the best actually. I'm naturally right handed, and the moment that happened really changed me. I reworked my training regime and I can now also play with my left hand. That is one of the two reasons why I got a tennis scholorship. I have a great time throwing people way off when I change which side I play as my forehand.

But the tournament in which that happened, I was in the second round out of a possible 6 round tournament in mixed doubles (played with girls, who my parter is my current gf). I was serving and the after a very powerful serve, stronger then I normally hit it, I knew I reached my limit. I couldn't really move my arm and it was a pain to just walk. I called for a trainer and put my arm in a sling. I still played that match, I hate retiring in the middle of a match because I'm so stubborn I don't want to quit, even though I'm realing in pain. We won that match somehow and won the next, but lost in the semis... In that match I was too doped up on pain meds to even toss the ball straight.

K Arthur90 - January 24, 2009 02:34 AM (GMT)
Lol...
I never took painkiller. Ever. Actually, the only heavy drug I've ever taken was full-out anesthesic when I removed my tonsils.
Also, before the actualy surgery, they gave me a small glass with "water"... It was some kind of muscular relaxant. I couldn't even get up, not even pushing myself from the bed. It was like my body weighed five times :P

No... I didn't make myself clear as full-out anesthesic, I meant the one they put u to sleep until they wake up up. With another drug.

Broke my toe on the last day of school, which healed 2 months later. Then, on the same day that my toe was diagnosed as healed, I got new braces. Then, shortly after the new braces' pain went away, I broke my back after a stress fracture because of track, which totally incapacitated me (I could walk, but that was it) for 4 months. Then I got these new braces on my molars way in the back, and they keep on digging into the inside of my mouth.

I've had 90% of the major pain in my life within the past 7 months of my life

Pain killers are for the weak. Fractured my ankle last summer and walked around on it for over a week before i got it put in a cast.

They be for the weak, but my coach didn't want me to forfeit my matches because of pain. He drugged my water with the pills when I asked for a refill... Still don't like my coach because of that. <_<

arthur i have been in 4 surgerys and every time they put this cream to numb my hand for the sleeping injection but they forget that they can't find my veins there so they like inject me for 7 seconds a giant needle that hurts like crazy in my joint to my shoulder and my lower arm and another one in my wrist ;)
