Title: Murder Mystery Part II
Description: What has happened?
K Arthur90 - December 2, 2008 07:59 PM (GMT)
Here's a mystery for you all:
You are a detective. You are a detective. You have been called to investigade a murder scene.
It's a small brick shack. The door is locked, from inside.
You kick the door, and it slams to the ground.
Inside, there's a man hung up at about 4 meters off the ground, with a rope tied to a wooden beam on the ceiling.
There is nothing around, apart from a water puddle below the guy. There are no windows, no other entrances/exits.
The first one to solve this puzzle wins another cookie.
coolmageİ - December 2, 2008 08:01 PM (GMT)
The man tied the rope then jumped up and hung himself. If there are no window how did someone know he died?
K Arthur90 - December 2, 2008 08:05 PM (GMT)
The rope is tied to the beam on the ceiling and it's 4 meters above. How could he reach to stick his head in the rope loop?
Golden arm42 - December 2, 2008 08:29 PM (GMT)
Dang, this one is tough. I like murder mysteries but I can't figure out this one. <_< Don't understand the significance of the 4 meters or the water puddle below...
Crash - December 2, 2008 08:41 PM (GMT)
He magically got a large block of ice, and stood on it to reach the rope, and it melted, leaving behind the puddle of water. B)

How is it Murder Mystery Part II? Was there ever a part I?
I'll be sure to come up with an explanation tonight >:P

But umm... if the door you slam down is an avarage sized door, how would you fit a block of ice, around 3m in height through the door frame?
And how would you get up on the ice, one, its sorta high up, and two, how would u get on without slipping off?? This question is illogical, but still, it was a good one :P

Here's another one:
Two people go to a bar. They order cold whiskeys.
According to witnesses, one of them started to choke and fell to the ground, breathless. The other tried to help, but he didn't managed to help him.
The scene has been left untouched. 1 hour later you arrive there. Their whiskey glasses are still there. One of them has water, the other has whiskey.
Also, there's already another one done. As soon you get this one ready I'll post the next one.
coolmageİ - December 3, 2008 09:31 PM (GMT)
Hmm, the one with just water had an ice cube in it and he choked on the ice cube while the rest in the glass melted.
I have one. Two guys walked into a bar they should have ducked.
K Arthur90 - December 3, 2008 09:36 PM (GMT)
ok, Cool, but solve mine first :P
Also, the mystery should end with the phrase "What happened?"
coolmageİ - December 4, 2008 07:29 PM (GMT)
It's not a mystery just a joke :P
Loneytoni79 - December 4, 2008 08:47 PM (GMT)
The whiskey was poisoned.
K Arthur90 - December 5, 2008 12:07 AM (GMT)
Not exactly: The ice cubes were poisoned. But one guy drank his whiskey too fast for the ice to melt, so he drank only the whiskey, and left the ice cubes, that melted.
The other one, drank his whiskey too slowly, letting the ice cube melt and allowing the poison to spread to the drink.
Kk. Next one:
You find a corpse on the nearby park. Although you are eager to investigate the case, the coroner must take the body to the morgue, and you can't think right with the sound of airplane landing and taking off the near airport.
Anyways, 30 mins later, you arrive at the morgue. The coroner says:
"All his bones are broken."
"So he died from blunt force trauma?"
"No. He died of hypotermia"
coolmageİ - December 5, 2008 12:20 AM (GMT)
Easy. He fell/was pushed out of the airplane while it was still high in the air where the air is icey and he died before he hit the ground bannana
K Arthur90 - December 5, 2008 12:29 AM (GMT)
Argh..... You've ran me out of puzzles!
Afff... I'll stick to writing AL's Chronicles... :)
K Arthur90 - December 5, 2008 10:56 PM (GMT)
Ok. A new one: But that's too easy, but anyways:
Sherlock Holmes was trying to employ a new helping hand. He found three women, that passed all his tests.
For the last test, he called upon them and said:
"The last task is to find a clue. A clue that I hid myself. To find it, you should go to the public library, get a book on medicine. The clue will be between the pages two sixty nine and two seventy. Now go."
Two of them left in a hurry to the library, but one stayed put. She got the job.
Lamb Bug - December 5, 2008 11:04 PM (GMT)
Because of two things.
1. Because Sherlock didn't specify which book. There are probably a lot of books on medicine.
2. Because Sherlock had no right to be tampering with library books! :P
coolmageİ - December 5, 2008 11:11 PM (GMT)
The last one was the hottest?
zoro894 - December 5, 2008 11:15 PM (GMT)
a plane landed on him? that would explain the broken bones but hypothermia is caused by coldness, so what time of day was it?
lol I posted late and got it wrong
K Arthur90 - December 6, 2008 12:16 AM (GMT)
@ Coolmage and Lamb
No. you're both wrong.
The guy in the park was almost solved. Here's a tip:
He has died a week ago, from when he was found at the park.
Srjiglestik - December 7, 2008 06:44 AM (GMT)
he found out he knocked up his girlfriend and then he hated his life so he hung himself
K Arthur90 - December 7, 2008 05:37 PM (GMT)
Read the previous posts. That one was already solved :P
The currently unsolved are Sherlock's and the guy in the park.
craiglock1 - December 23, 2008 07:20 PM (GMT)
he liked the one that stayed behind?
Donovan Kays - December 25, 2008 02:33 PM (GMT)
Pages 269 and 270 can never be across from each other :o so there can be nothing in between them
craiglock1 - January 10, 2009 01:44 PM (GMT)
They was in a library, and the book of medicen was on the table 3 steps away? :P
K Arthur90 - January 14, 2009 09:04 PM (GMT)
Donovan got it! Cookies for ya!
Cerberus2450 - January 15, 2009 01:40 AM (GMT)
I found this a second ago. It's pretty tough...
A man hijacks an aeroplane transporting both passengers and valuable cargo. After taking the cargo, the man demands two parachutes, puts one of them on, and jumps, leaving the other behind. Why did he want two?
3monightmar3 - January 15, 2009 10:32 AM (GMT)
one for the valuble cargo? (which was a person)
Sick Mate 9 - January 15, 2009 12:26 PM (GMT)
park: three guys were in a freezing cold plane with alot of money. last person alive got all the money that was on that plane. the guy that he found in the park was the 1st person dead. he died of hypathermia. so he didnt stink up the place with a dead smell they threw his out the planes door which explains his broken bones.
Cerberus2450 - January 16, 2009 09:01 PM (GMT)
@3monightmar3 on the right track
hint: it said he dropped the other parachute and only used one in the info
K Arthur90 - January 17, 2009 12:54 AM (GMT)
No. he leaves the other parachute behind.
Cerberus2450 - January 18, 2009 02:34 AM (GMT)
Ya by dropped I meant left in the airplane. Sry for the confusion.
Cerberus2450 - January 24, 2009 12:37 AM (GMT)
The answer is he asked for two parachutes because he knew that if he asked for two the crew would would think he was taking a hostage and wouldn't risk giving him a faulty parachute.
