10JUNE06 w00t. We are starting to get settled, sorta. It's all cool. Though remember, feel free to start a thread in your area. (ie human's in the station; wolve's in the..wolf bit. xD) I'm sure people will join in! =3

Other than that; everything else seems good - just remember to make threads to keep activity up - and maybe introduce yourself on the OOC board as well. :3 - (Scroll)

Welcome--
As far as this rating goes it is obviously a mature role play. This is one realistic role play among the wolves. Realistic means that there will be nothing that seems out of the ordinary. There will also be more common things such as force-breeding and fights for ranks and other things. There is inappropriate language, sexual content, and violence which may not be suitable for some role players. Please consider this before you begin role playing. You have been warned once already.

Out of Character--
Out of Character does not have a rating of maturity. You can go as far as you would like. Please do not post inappropriate images on the boards or anything of that sort of course. Have some decency people! I would prefer you do not use a lot of chat speak on the boards. Some things may be acceptable but I do not want the boards over crowded with words and phrases that no one is aware about. Also, do not spam the board or the Cbox, doing so is immature and acting in such a fashion I am sure will make sure that you don't join a mature board such as this. This is a warning, you don't get enough one, you get suspended.

Graphics--
The graphics are copyrighted to their owners. You are not allowed to claim the photograph as your own unless you took it, you may only say that the graphic is copy righted to you, not the picture. You are not allowed to use this graphic anywhere else unless the person who made the graphic said it is okay. You must credit a person in their signature. You are not allowed to just think it is fine for you to have the signature with the copyright sign without you crediting, please credit the graphic to whoever made it. Signatures are not allowed to stretch out the board, if they do one of the administrators will tell you and you must re-size it or we will remove it.

Power playing--
Yes, this is actually allowed. Power playing is only allowed by alphas and humans. The alphas are not allowed to say they killed your character but allowed to say they harmed it, alphas are not allowed to retract blood unless you allow for your character to. The alphas may knock your character over and push them aside they can also sink their teeth into them, but they are not allowed to retract blood they are allowed to say ‘the alpha let his daggers sink into the other wolf’s shoulder blade hoping to retract at least an ounce of blood’. It is only when your character gets out of hand that an alpha may power play.

Characters--
There will not be any perfect characters. Your character is allowed to look highly attractive which various flaws in their personality, now that is fine, but drop dead gorgeous with a perfect personality are not allowed. Some characters may have disorders you can look those up and decide whether you like for them to have one. Note: a disorder must be mentioned. A disorder often effects how someone reacts to certain situations which may differ from others. Wolves may not be with all white fur and blue eyes and go around helping everyone and being all happy jolly as in a perfect character. No one is perfect. You may look gorgeous on the outside but animals do have flaws. Give your character personality and out look that make them different from everyone else.

Lands--
Wolves are not allowed to claim lands. The lands are ruled by one pack and no one else. There are lone wolves allowed, but they must submit when they see a higher ranking wolf especially an alpha because they are on their territory, alphas are allowed to attack the lone wolves until they runaway or submit properly.

Joining—
In order for a wolf to join they must enter one of the territories. An alpha or sub-alpha will greet you, remember that your character must be submissive.

Violence--
Since this is a realistic type role play there will be battles for ranks. It is not given to you unless an alpha has said that you deserve the rank which takes a lot. Battles will be taken to have higher ranks. If your character is a low rank feels like battling against a sub-alpha for their rank that is allowed. The only wolves that are not allowed to be challenged are the alphas. They can only be challenged by their pups and that is when they are older. Otherwise the alpha wolves are not allowed to be challenged. Details are the way to win the battle.

Sexual Content--
Rape/ Force-breeding are encouraged. It is the wild after all and that is what the males do to the females. Females do not have much of say but to be allowed for this to be done to them. You are allowed to be graphic in these topics if you please but please provide some sort of warning before you do so. After breeding has taken place then cubs are sure to be on the way. Below is a growth chart for puppies.

Growth Chart--
2 Weeks- Eyes open, milk teeth begin to come in.
3 Weeks- Hearing begins; pups begin to walk on all four legs.
3-4 Weeks- Mother begins to wean pups, feeds them regurgiated food; pups begin to play around entrance of den.
8-10 Weeks- Pups leave the den permanently and move to rendezvous site.
7 Months- Pups leave rendezvous site and travel with the pack; begin to hunt with adults.
2 Years- Pups are sexually mature.

List of Prey--

- Beaver -
In some regions beaver is important to a wolf's diet, the catch is easy espiecally if the beaver cannot reach a water supply.
- Bison -
A main prey animal but the most dangerous of wolves quarry. Calves are more vulnerable but the herd with instinctivly surround the weak with horns out to predators.
- Caribou -
These animals are migratory, so wolves will usually follow their path. The caribou are used to wolves and only those close to the predators are afraid.
- Dall Sheep -
Dall Sheep will try to escape up rocky walls, so wolves must attack from higher ground to cut off this escape root.
- Deer -
Deer are the smallest amount of prey that the wolves eat, but they are among the fastest. With the advantage of speed wolves hardly catch them.
- Elk -
Elk are vital prey to wolves in the north west.
- Moose -
Because moose are well outfitted with antlers and hooves they will fight if they are full grown. Your best chance is taking a calf which is still protected by a mother until 1 years of age.
- Mountain Goat -
These are the hardest for they can flee up cliffs and rocky outcroppings where wolves cannot get to.
- Musk Ox -
They preform a defensive position, if the herd can get the herd to flee a young calf might get left behind.

List of Predators-

- Alligators -
Alligators may take a wolf who comes to close in infested waters.
- Bears -
Bears will engage in deadly conflicted with wolves over dead carcesses, or if one of the opposing comes to close to the others children. Sometimes wolves will feed on hybernating bears and bear cubs but Bears have the upper hand as they are bigger.
- Cougars -
Because cougar numbers are relatively low enocunters between them are rare. Sometimes wolves will take couger cubs and fight cougars though serious injuries are enduced by their sharp claws and teeth.
- Coyotes -
Wolves will not stand coyotes in their territories and will chase them off immediently. Sometimes wolves will kill them. Coyotes though will somtimes steal off kills and buried meat.
- Foxes -
Foxes are tolerated because they do not eat the same prey as Wolves. Wolves also may used abandoned fox dens for themselves.
- Wolverines -
Wolverines at a kill will often be run off, sometimes wolverines will attempt to protect the kill but often get killed in the process do to variances in size.

Administrators--
Remember to respect administrators for they have the upperhand in any battle and are almost always right when it comes to conflicts. Admins will always win, it doesn't matter over what. Be respectful and kind to us and the same will be returned.
