Sorry guys, no update this weekend. Next should work. Teachers will go light on the homework load next weekend for the ACT test. So I'll use the extra time to draw.

A quick side-note about using bacteria and other microbes. For future reference, a creature attempting to use bacteria to accomplish something is a chance that is dependant on if the microbes (unknown to you all) are present in the area and have adapted to do such things as you describe. That said...

Here's the fact card for the bacteria in Stoner's creature:

Name: Lacerius minificus
Plasmids: Fast Reproduction x1, Growth Within Host-Body x1, Clustered Growth x1
Life-Span: 15 minutes before dividing under ideal conditions
Description: This bacteria grows in clumps within the host body, usually not very far below the skin. When the clump grows too large for the hosts skin to contain, it causes a rupture like a popping pimple and spreads the now released bacteria to start growing on other creatures. However, it is too fragile to live for very long outside the proctetion of the Thorned Stalk.

Stoner, the fact card you will use from now on will look like this:
Name: Thorned Stalk
Ancestry: Branch Stalk -> Thorned Stalk
Creator: GeneralStoner
Genes Added: Thorns x1, Hollowed Thorns x1, Bacteria Production x1
Genes: Branching Growth x1, Polyp Formation x1, Swimming Sex Cells x1, Filter Feeding x1, Thorns x1,Hollowed Thorns x1, Bacteria Production x1

Ancestory: Barbed Shell -> Marksman Shell
Creator: Webster52402
Genes Added: Water Intake Channel x1, Hollow Spines x1, Water Storage/Release Muscles x1
Genes Removed: None
Total Genes: Half Shell x1, Barbed Shell Spines x1, Hollow Spines x1, Water Storage/Release Muscles x1, Water Intake Channel x1, Budding Reproduction x1, Filtration Feeding x1
Description: The Marksman Shell is true to its name, as are its Shell brethren. Over time, this adaptation of the Barbed Shell developed a way to store water within it, using a water intake channel combined with muscles attached to hollow spines that stored the water. The intake channel built the pressure within the hollow spines, before the muscles within the Shell released when threatened. This let out a powerful jet of water, that hopefully would deter any attacker. This also formed a system of jet movement, as the creature could spray the spines on one side and cause it to scoot along the ocean floor.

Whether for travel or for defense, this Shell quickly proved that it was going to focus more on ranged combat than close defense like its other shells.

With the extended creation time and some information, I've decided to spread out my fungus to the volcanic area as well O.O

Name: Steam Root
Ancestry: Gnarl Root -> Aqua Root -> Steam Root
Creator: Bodhi BloodWave
Genes Added: Heat Resistance x1, Aquatic Spores x1, Increased Spore Dispersal x1
Total Genes: Fungal Consumption x1, Spores x1, Fast Reproduction x2, Increased Lifespan x1, Aquatic Spores x1, Increased Spore Dispersal x1
Description: A flimsy, albeit unextraordinary fungus, the steam root has drifted with the currents to arrive in the heated waters of the vulcanic islands. It has a tightly bound but weak skin that surrounds the little white growths of fungus that penetrate the surface.

Name: Cleanser Shell
Ancestory: Barbed Shell -> Cleanser Shell
Creator: Webster52402
Genes Added: Water Funnel x1, Water Intake Channel x1, Filtration Net Skin x1
Genes Removed: None
Total Genes: Half Shell x1, Barbed Shell Spines x1, Water Funnel x1, Filtration Net Skin x1, Water Intake Channel x1, Budding Reproduction x1, Filtration Feeding x1
Description: The Cleanser sell is the ultimate of all filtration creatures. From the top of the Shell, a funnel developed, the wide opening of which had a unique skin stretched across it that filtered the water that passed through it. Thanks to a Water Intake Channel inside the creature, suction pulled the water through the large funnel and the skin of it, pulling water through while filtering the edible parts of the water out. This included spores, detritus, floating bits of algae, anything that the shell could eat. This unique filtration system made it so that it sucked as much food as possible to its location, feeding its ravenous appetite, as well as curb the massive amounts of spores that were being pushed into the waters.

OOC: Just ignore the Herbicide Shell that was here before, the idea of it was created in hot blood and not thought completely through.

Name: Tanning Tube
Ancestry: Filter Tube -> Capture Tube -> Tanning Tube

Genes Removed: Filter Feeding x1
Total Genes: Horizontal Tubes x1, Stalks x1, Strong Stalks x1, Constricting Tubes x1, Trigger Hairs x1, Large Size x1, Fast Reproduction x2, Photosynthesis x1
[/B]Description:[/B] The Tanning tube has tossed aside its omnivorous nature to try and capitalize on the energy provided by the sun, a quirk of fate has made it retain the ability to capture 'food' even tho it nolonger is able to absorb it, which more or less leaves the caught 'food' to starve or suffocate(unsure if air is let into the 'tube)

And with that, Era Two ends. I'll be working on Era Three soon, and I figure I'd post some information here.

Era Three will be the last era in Period One. Then we'll have our first cataclysm.

Also, it may be a while before the next update is up. I am working on it, though. Thanks for your patience!
