Its ruins still exist after all these years and remains of machina which house ancient weapons can still be found here. |

Wysteria Bastion A grand academy where some of the highest accolades have been given, it is home to most of the country's prominent children. It looks like more like a cathedral or monastery atop the Guile Cliffs, with it's walls and turrets of carved stone and the Gothic style architecture. It is by far a place pulled right from the pages of the past. |

Blight's Crater A massive crater left behind in a vast desert from the almost earth shattering meteor that fell over a century ago. It is a huge archeological dig now, and everyone who comes here must be properly prepared for it's harsh sunlight that creates mirages, heat, and short supply of water. Also come armed for protection against the monsters that dwell here. |

The Sleeping Forest A glowing white forest flowing with the force of the life stream. Deep within it lays a rocky crest rising out of a large pool of pure water. Some come here to listen to the voices of those lost to the Lifestream. Pyreflies float around in this forest, helping to bewitch those who end up here. |

Not only was the nearby Northern Crater the impact site of Jenova, but the Icicle Lodge was the birthplace and final resting place of Aerith, the last Cetra. |
