Standing on the roof of the barn, Stella looked out towards the horizon. Everything about this day had got her excited. It was the day her farther returned home from his long journeys! He had always told her stories of Hogwarts, and before long she had become fascinated by this school. Stella had always wanted to attend Hogwarts, and hop fully her letter would be coming soon enough - she was almost 11. Rocking back and forth, she finely decided that she had waited long enough.

Climbing back down the ladder, she skipped into her living room, hugging her mother around the waist, who patted her head softly. Stella's mother was Muggle Born, and had married Stella's farther - a Wizard when she had been young. Right now her farther was away on Ministry business, leaving Stella and her mother alone, but Safe.

"Stella honey..." Her mother began, before stopping. Stella smiled up at her, still holding her.

"Yes mommy?" She asked sweetly, her voice soft, her childish innocence showing through.

"I... Your farther.. he just called. He's not coming back for another few months." Silence followed. Stella has known somthing like this would happen. He was supposed to have come back last month, but was called away yet again. He was a busy man. Sighing, Stella released her mother, and turned around, hiding her face, scared her mother would get upset by seeing Stella's tears.

"It's okay mum. I'm off to go play!" She giggled, before running outside, all the way to the top of the hill where the Portkey was. She touched it, but nothing happened. Of course not, her farther wasn't coming back, so it had been deactivated. The large rock sat on the floor. With a scream, Stella kicked at it in fury. Why did her farther always do this to her! Couldn't he see how much she and her mother wanted him back!

The sun was high in the sky, and Vaul was just happy to be outside. His farther had been giving him a rough time again, complaining just because Vaul had just knocked over the shelf in his fathers shop. Dumb shop, nobody went thee anyway, except the people living in this area, and that went many. Vaul had been walking around for a while now, and everything seemed perfect about this day. Birds squawked ahead, the sound making Vaul smile. Digging his feet into the soft grass, Vaul climbed the hill, only to halter as he reached the top. A young girl stood, touching a large rock that looked stuck into the ground. She looked sad... and pretty. Approaching her, Vaul smiled, and sat down on the ground next to her. "Hello there." He chipped in, then reached out his hand to touch the rock. It was rough, nothing like how it appeared.

Taking in a deep breathe, Vaul sneakily looked over the girl, careful if she should notice him. Her hair and clothes where both a midnight black, except her hair was long, flowing, and looked as though it would be soft to touch. Her eyes... they where differnt. Vaul wasn't even sure what color they even where, black, navy blue or purple, but whatever it was, they where gorgeous. She seemed to have some kind of air about her, as though she knew things others did not, or was smarter then the rest. Vaul was mesmerized by the aura, and was even more impressed by her. He had yet to hear her voice, but was waiting to hear is carefully.

"Hello there."Stella looked up, locking eyes with a boy around her age, his hair a midnight purple. "Hello.." She murmered in reply, blushing slightly. Usually the local boys shied away from her, scared by her alieness, and the strange things that happened around her. Obviously, they didn't know what Stella was - that she was a Witch.

She watched him touch the rock, laughing a little inside. If only he knew... sitting down beside him, she watched him mess with the inactive Port Key, wondering if she should tell him to stop. It was possible it could activate at any moment, and if he got transported elsewhere there was there was no guarantee he would be allowed his memory... nor he would be safe.

Drawing in a deep breathe, Stella reached towards to rock, and opened her mouth. As her finger's touched the rough surface, a strange tingly sensation cursed through her. The Portkey was active! Lunging towards him, Stella was in a state of panic.

"DON'T TOUCH IT!" She yelled.
