A Drowned Flame

Axel wandered the streets of the water town, thinking, Why did I come here? If I'm attacked my fire will go out in the humidity he bumbed into someone and immediately drew his chakram, ready to fight.

"Pardon me",Deception apologised then looked him over and smirked slightly.

"What're you smirking at?" he questioned, a hint of anger in his voice, "Do you know who I am?"

"No I a afraid I don't know who you are but I'm sure you'll tell me",she stated while crossing her arms.

This pissed Axel off, he put his two chakram together to make a spark, then used that and the completed flow of alchemy to ignite them, turning them intodeadly fire chakram. "I'll tell you if you can manage to beat me, or if you put up a good enough fight."

"Hmm a feisty one eh? This should be fun",she said in a playful tone then it appeared as if she faded away and darkness surrounded him.

Axel charged the flame in his chakram and let out a blast. "A homonculus eh? I've defeated many of your filthy kind." he yelled, as the illusion disappeared. "Nothing can scare me, or mess with me."

"Aww your no fun",she whispered in his ear, she was right behind him.

Axel stabbed his weapons back before she and a chance to get away and let out another pulse of fire, torching her, "And you're a soulless doll, I guess that makes us even. You are not fast enough to even begin to fight me, I have seen the gate and endured it's hell"

The flames turned black when they touched her body, her eyes widend slightly when a vision of a young woman entered her mind."You don't know anything about me....",she hissed as the flames fell from her body."Hmph you humans are all fools",she said coldly.

"I might not be able to kill you now, but I will soon, I will find your original body you inhuman scum! And I'd advise you to remember the name Axel Haroya, Leader of the Rogue Alchemists." he spat, slicing off her hair and leaving the city. If the damn humidity hadn't been there, she would be out for days, even though she is a homonculus. he thought angrily as he left

She closed her eyes and became shrouded in darkness as her body returned back to normal."You'll never find it....it is but ashes in the shifting sands of the desert",she whispered then vanished.
