Tanka, hands down one of the best sniper rifles you can buy, it's around $400. High power, many upgrades, shoots awesome in stock form. Just remember ROE or you'll get your ass kicked out of the field you play at.

ROE is rules of engagement, EXTREMELY important for snipers using high powered rifles, such as the Tanka. The minimum engagement distance is around 100 feet, some fields go higher though. If you're a sniper you need a sidearm for sure for close distances. So either follow the ROE or don't play airsoft.

CA M24's are EXTREMELY high maintenance. Not to mention most people don't like pulling back bolts that heavy to achieve the power of an effective airsoft sniper rifle. Other than that, CA's are great, the externals are just awesome. It has potential, but you can expect to be spending just as much time or even more working on it rather than shooting.

if i was to buy a rifle for that much money, i want it to preform all the time with as little as possible maintenance. It is also much nicer to have something that doesnt take a lot of power to cock but still is high powered.
