Quote of the Moment "So, dinner looks set. I was craving large bird caught by dog."

The Sections
The Cockpit
The front end of the plane has crash landed on a wide beach, bordered on one side with a large rocky outcrop. The beach gives way to the jungle, closest to the sandy beach the trees are far apart and provide a shady place for the passengers to regroup. Injuries are widespread and range from minor scrapes and bruises to broken legs and fatal puncture wounds. Those who are up and about are very busy.
The Tail-end
The tail end of the plane has landed on a rocky beach, bordered by an inland meadow and a natural jetty. Beyond the meadow the jungle is thick. Since the tail-end landed roughly a hundred feet from the shore, most people who were injured have drowned. This also leaves our mostly unharmed survivors with little luggage to use to their advantage, that is until they swim to get some.
The Cessna
The Cessna crashed in the Island's Valley a short period of time ago. A handful of people managed to grab parachutes and land in the jungle, while the rest went down with the plane. Lots of injuries, though not as severe as the other groups.

The Beach Soft sand, clear water, the island our survivors have crashed upon seems to be a little piece of paradise. Gloomy sentinels, the cockpit and fuselage sit on the shore, as if to remind the survivors of how they got there. The wreckage though, does serve some purpose, providing materials for the survivors to build makeshift housing.
Makeshift Shelters Some are elaborate, some are simple, but this is where our survivors are staying. The huts have mostly been built along the tree line, with some dotted a bit deeper into the trees. A fire pit roughly in the center of the area serves as a meeting place.
The Jungle Where the trees start to thicken, the jungle begins. Unfortunately for our survivors, the jungle is host to numerous creepy crawlies and animals that are less than friendly. The jungle though, also has a multitude of fruit bearing trees, rivers, and edible plants.

Outcrop This rocky area near the Cockpit beach is home to the nests of numerous migratory birds, though the rocks tend to get rather slippery and hazardous to climb on. If you can climb them however, you get a nice view of the beach and the ocean.
The Rocky Beach The beach on the tail end shore is rocky and filled with seashells. The plane wreckage is visible from the shore during low tide. The water here is clear, but about twenty feet away from shore there is an underwater cliff where the depth goes from around waist deep to way over one's head.
The Meadow The shore makes way for tall grasses inland, nearest to the sand the grass is scratchy, but farther inland it is soft and comfortable to lay in. The meadow is where the Tail-end group gathers to talk.
Makeshift Shelters The tail-end built their makeshift shelters along the tree line, though did not dare build any in the thick jungle. These lean-tos are rather skimpy, seeing as the tail-end survivors didn't have much to build them with. Nevertheless they get the job done.

The Jungle The jungle on the tail-end shore is thick and hard to navigate through, even during the day. Even so, if you can get through the thick underbrush, there is a river within easy walking distance of the tree line.
The Caves About a mile from the Cockpit shore lies a system of caves. There's a waterfall and river nearby them. The caves themselves are somewhat damp if you venture deep into them, but provide a warm, dry shelter otherwise.

The Valley The middle of the island is home to large, lush, mostly treeless valley. Here you can look up upon the two large hills that loom over the island. Various animals such as rabbits and wild turkeys live in the valley.

The Peninsula Beyond the smaller peak is a round peninsula, where the trees are spread farther apart and many of them grow fruit. Getting to this peninsula, however, is a chore, seeing as you have go climb the tree thick mountain.

The Large Peak The island's landscape is dominated my a large mountain. The trees there are not as thick as most of the jungle, but the slope is quite steep in places. The view at the top is well worth the trip though.
