Free Syrian Army Assistance plan

In coordination with Saudi personal now stationed in Jordan, Saudi Special forces from the 4th Airborne Battalion under the guise of being Military police are to make contact with the Free Syrian Army. Once contact is made arrangements are to be made to train fighters, and arm them with chinese made anti-air and anti-tank weapons. These weapons which require little training to use will help the FSA fight back against Assad's forces. The weapons are to be transported in secret and carefully managed on the Saudi end to ensure replica's are made incase questioning about the weapons comes about. Saudi forces will train to the best of their ability FSA leadership instead of fighters them selves, these leaders would then take what they know and take it back to teach others across Syria to battle Assad.

Operation Cavalry

Continuation of the support to the Syrian opposition has lead to an alliance between the Opposition and the Kurdish PKK. This Alliance is supported by the Saudi Royal family, while a Independent Kurdistan would hurt regional allies like Iraq, It would also Harm Iran. Therefore the Kingdom will support the PKK and assist them at this current time. Training of the Syrian opposition is to continue in preperation for a major offensive at the end of the year. Scheduled for 28 July 2014 on Eid-ul-Fitr. The operation will use the holiday as means to assemble arms around target objectives. carefully planning will be required to prevent discovery as well as the proper placement of fighters to ensure victory. Major objectives include major cities in every province including the capital, military bases, and infrastructure targets. Currently Saudi special forces have been training the opposition in bomb making leading to new and more leathal car bombs and IED's.

A special task force is being specially trained to go after government targets during the operation.

The PKK in coordination with the Saudi special forces are training opposition fighters in general marksmenship and soldier skills.

Operation Cavalry is on schedule, in preperation attacks designed to soften Assads forces have been launched including truck bombs being set off in assassination attempts as well as damaging key military infrastructure that could hinder a country attack as part of the upcoming operation. While the Al-Assad government claims the FSA is broken it is simply that the FSA banner has been absorbed into the greater Syrian opposition. Al-Assad while thinking his power basin is growing in reality is weaken without him knowing as the opposition recovers after major failures against the Assad military. Now supported by Saudi Arabia directly though in secret, as well as Kuwait, Qatar and Turkey, it is expected that once heavy weapons are captured by rebel forces the tide will shift.

Operation Cavalry is currently set on hold, Saudi government has put pressure on the PKK to cease hostilities against Turkey, if only while the Syrian conflict is going on so that all effort can be focused against Al-Assad. The PKK agreed and would use its sources as far away as Iran to get information about weapons bound for Syria. In return the SNC agreed to give greater independence to the Kurdish region of Syria once the SNC takes over fully control from Assad's government. The PKK then begins planning large scale raids in the North west of Syria including military facilities to take weapons and supplies.

Opposition commanders have moved for greater autonomy from their foreign trainers and are now taking a great and more active role. Opposition commanders plan to carry out Operation Cavalry soon however no exact date has been set as of yet but is expected at the start of the muslim holy month. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will now undertake Operation down fall. The operation is to start with heavy counter intelligence to cover up the build up of men and equipment as well as increased arms shipments. As while Saudi intelligence will seek out foreign agents that may be working counter to the Opposition and eliminate them. Operation Down fall's final stage will involve direct military involvement by the Kingdom when the time is right in the form of air assets to assit the opposition.

PKK has split with the Syrian PKK staying to help the opposition comprising roughly 35% of the PKK's elements in Syria. the remaining PKK have gone back to focussing on Turkey.

Bahrain Assistance Force (BAF)

4,000 personal are being deployed from garrisons in the region and medical assets from across the country in order to support the Saudi objective of assisting the current ruling power of Bahrain to restore order to the country. As a result extra attention will be given to relieving pressure on the US 5th fleet HQ facilities to prevent possible violence there. Speacial attention will also be made to government facilities to protect them from damage. ROE is to block the path of protestors if the situation turns violent the use of tear gas is authorized to protect personal and facilities. Continued or an increase to the treat then may authorize the use by the local commander to fire frangible or simunition rounds at protestors. Warning shots will be fired first, all personal are to be briefed not to aim for soft tissue on a person.

Operation Phantom Shield

The Saudi Intelligence community will actively keep an eye on the situation in Bahrain and uses it's agents in the region to discover if any outside influence particularly Iran as he King of Bahrain has suggested is fueling the fire of this situation. Hostile Foreign agents are to be captured or killed, if capture is impossible then the death of said agent should be made to look accidental as much as possible.

Operation Condor

In accordance with the increase of activity in support of the Syrian opposition the ministry of defense has authorized cross border special forces raids into southern Syria. These operations will be conducted with the utmost secrecy and teams will not carry anything that could trace them back to saudi arabia. Their objective is the distruption of command and control and intelligence gathering.

In response to the change in the ground situation and increasing IED strikes in Bahrain, Saudi forces have began using the tactic of pogo points on major routes to protect them from IED strikes. The concept involve multiple check points along a route used to monitor the route and protect it from possible insurgents planting devices along the routes. Vehicle check points are also being set up along major routes around Bahrain to catch insurgents and capture bomb making materials before they can be used against local and PSF Personal.
