To Sweden/Saab:

The Republic of Korea Air Force is interested in procuring 75 JAS 39E (NG) variants. It is our understanding that Sweden planned on pushing this variant into service as late as 2017. However, the ROKAF inquires whether it would be possible to push the E variant into service as soon as 2015/16.

Korean Aerospace Industries is also interested in a production sharing agreement where some of the aircraft can be assembled in South Korea.

Total Cost:
$4.5 billion ($60 million per aircraft)

Payment Plan:
1Q2012: $1.97205 billion
1Q2013: $1.98295 billion

$545 million to be paid after delivery of final aircraft.

To Sweden/BAE Systems AB

The Russian Ground Force is interested in testing the ADAPTIV Thermal Stealth System unveiled last year at DSEi 2011.

We therefore request that a joint team of BAE Engineers and Russian Ground Force engineers be formed, to allow the trialing of this system on Russian vehicles.

If found to be satisfactory, we expect that a significant order, numbering in over a thousand systems over the next decade, will be issued to BAE Systems AB.

[Cost can be determined by CSJ at a later date, I believe he is busy at the moment]

As Saab AB - Sweden to South Korea

We would be delighted to welcome South Korea aboard as a partner for the Gripen NG project, however the cost has risen to upward of $85million. If we receive additional investment and potentially another partner we may be able to decrease costs and speed up the timescale.

We would be willing to have the aircraft formed in to kits for final assembly in South Korea if this is acceptable?

As BAE Systems AB - Sweden to Russia

We would be delighted to supply Russia with the ADAPTIV system, we look forward with working with you in the future!

We would happily provide you with a license to produce the AMOS turret, with regard to export we would like a percentage of sales revenue as well as the right to veto exports to countries that Finland wouldn't sell to itself.

Morocco

The military of Suriname notes that the Descubierta class corvette Lieutenant Colonel Errhamani (501) presently in service with your navy is scheduled for decommissioning pending replacement by your new French/Italian Frigate as wish to inquire as to the future of this ship. We are ourselves investigating the possibility of operating a vessel of this stature, likely with its missile capacities removed, to serve as a patrol vessel for our Caribbean coastline.

(Its thirty years old now and of a sixties design so is pretty well worn, in terms of price I would imagine that it would be something along the lines of <$20 million assuming that I leave them everything but the three guns (1x 76mm and 2x 40mm).)

As Morocco to Suriname.

Assuming there are no objections from the Spanish then we have no objection to selling you this ship, we should receive the replacement sometime in 2013 and after achieving readiness will tow it to Suriname and provide training to your sailors. You should receive it in Q3 2013. We will remove the missile armament and give her a jolly good sprucing up prior to delivery.

Sweden

The Ak 5 has seen tremendous success as a weapons platform for the Swedish marines. Given our military's familiarity with the FN family, this weapon is very interesting to us. We wish to purchase 100 Ak 5s for evaluation. Timely delivery is very important to us. Should these weapons meet the approval of our current service members, we will place an order for more before the end of the year.

Thank you.

[$2,000 x 100 Ak 5s = $200,000]
