Mourad Benmehidi shook his head as he leaned toward the microphone.

"Ladies and Sirs, I understand the importance of allowing individuals and those that could represent the people of Syria to speak. But do we not already have those that speak for Syria? Just because you have a faction of the nation shouting and protesting, does not make them legit to represent all of Syria. Just because you catch a thief in a wealthy home and he yells that he has a right to steal from the rich home, does not make him less of a thief."[I]

"This is far beyond shouting and protesting, the Opposition movement controls the majority of Syria as a whole still, this is a civil war representative not a simple protest, violence against protests is what got us here. Given there representation of many Syrians including the Sunni Majority we are obligated to hear both sides of this civil war if we are to find a diplomatic solution. If the SNC can't trust the world to listen to them when they have been demanding change for years, why would Al-Assad and his terrorist self-destructive regime be willing to listen? cause it hasn't so far even with the efforts of the world powers. So I feel we are obligated to hear the opposition opinion and what they want to do. We may find ground to get a diplomatic solution to this crisis."

Chapter 6, Section 4, Para 3
The only reason for the existence of a Maintenance Platoon or
Company is the recovery and repair of equipment; thus any defensive
scheme which ties up a large number of technicians for long periods
in non-productive duties is of direct assistance to the enemy.
