Hey, I got an email about needing more players. Been lurking for a bit. Hmm... nations open? What all is going on here...?

Anything red or white on the map except Austria, Czech Rep, or Angola.

Maybe make up a list of the top 5 you want and what you will do with them so we can help you decide.

I suggest Turkey if that resignation was real. Otherwise, Canada is open, as well as Poland, if you want a major player.

I agree with Sel: give a top 5.

Good idea. Ok, here I go:

1. Azerbaijan
2. Romania
3. Poland

Minor two (if all else fails)
4. Haiti
5. Hungary

They're pretty much in the order of what I might like, and I'd some input on what you guys think would be good.

I have a plan for Haiti in real life.
IRL 21c FTW!!!

Poland sounds good despite my reservations about their ethnicity...

I really wish I could get my Romanian friend to play Romania. Although now that school's out, there amy be time to play it...

Poland - Military power, actually.

If you want something that could prove fun on a small level, then Haiti.. build a military, go to war with the Dominicans.

I'm sorry the Dominicans would smash the Haitians in a war, even if Haiti could somehow find a way to found an army (seeing as they are the poorest country in the western hemisphere), plus I think even historically the Dominicans have tried to go to war with Haiti, Trujillo and el corte of the Haitian population.

Well, i don't know how to say this, but i need to switch. Things are too...confusing right now for me to handle a nation such as Egypt. I tought i would have enough time to commit myself to 21c, but i was wrong. There are just too many things happening atm. Therefore, if noone objects, could i please switch to Finland?

Well, we are pretty active, so welcome.

Plus there are a good number of nations which can be used in RP which are available. Mostly those which have problems which need to be solved, but hey, still fun.

Dude, I know how you feel I picked ukraine and was forced to follow through with the deal, or Germany(not H&K the company im dealing with) the whole arms industry of germany would of gone "Hrm.. I dont trust you because you decided another contract was better after a previous ukraine said Deal." and went about being a ass about it..

Yea, nothing you can really do about it aang since it apparently cannot be ret-conned.

Your best bet, if you do not want to follow storylines that another player had in the works (there's much more than just the war), then I would just not pick it. Egypt is another important option, since the player left but didn't really do anything with it.

However, if you want Canada, you can have Canada. No one's forcing you to take another nation.
